Kako je ovih dana vreme prilično tmurno odlučila sam da ga osunčam lepim žutim lakom. Zoya Darcy iz ovogodišnje prolećne kolekcije Stunning mi je došla kao poručena i zapravo kako sam namazala lak granulo je sunce (onu provalu oblaka koja je usledila ćemo zanemariti). Zoya lakovi ne sadrže toluen, dibutil ftalat, formalin, formalinski rezin, kamfor, sastojke životinjskog porekla i ne testiraju se na životinjama. Svi lakovi dolaze u bočicama od 15 ml. The weather was murky last few days so I decided to bring some sunshine in form of yellow polish. Zoya Darcy, from this year's spring collection called Stunning fit the bill perfectly and actually the sun shone as soon as I painted my nails (we shall disregard the deluge that followed). Zoya polishes don't contain toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and animal products and are not tested on animals.

Essence Nude Glam 01 Hazelnut Cream Pie

Hazelnut Cream Pie je jedan od dva Nude glam laka povučena zimus te nema svrhe da pišem mnogo o njima. Uzela sam ih kako bih ih koristila kao bazu za crtanje po noktima ili nešto slično (ovaj sam koristila kao bazu za transfer foliju), ali dopada mi se i kako mi stoje i bez ikakvih ukrasa. Aplikacija je ista kao i kod drugih Essence lakova - pristojna. Sve su snimljene na dnevnom svetlu. Imam dva sloja laka i nemam nadlak.

Hazelnut Cream Pie is one of two Nude glam polishes Essence discontinued last winter and there is not much use for me to write about them in detail. I bought them in order to do some nail art over them (I used this one as base for nail transfer foil), but I like how they fit me on their own. The application was the same as with other Essence polishes - decent. All photos were taken in daylight. I have two coats of polish and no top coat.

Miss Sporty 470 Raindrop

Nedavno sam ponovo poklekla pred odlukom da ne kupim više nijedan Miss Sporty lak, ali kako sam se oko ovog već ranije lomila i kako je u Mauricijusu bio na rasprodaji (svi stari Miss Sporty lakovi su bili 90 dinara) računala sam da je ovo potencijalna greška koju mogu da priuštim. Ispostavilo se da nije greška i da je dobro što sam ga uzela. Ova se boja više ne proizvodi tako da zdušno preporučujem da je potražite ukoliko je već nemate.

I had made up my mind not to buy another Miss Sporty polish, but I recently succumbed and got this one after I'd seen it on sale. I wanted to get it before, but was unsure whether to do it or not and since it was under 1€ I thought it was a potential mistake I can allow myself to make. It turned out it isn't a mistake and that I did well to get it. It has been discontinued and I heartily suggest you get it while you can if you don't already have it.

Golden Rose Holiday 56

Videle ste u prethodnom članku da su mi se dopali OPI lakovi Magazine Cover Mouse i Jinx. Nisam bila u prilici da kupim OPI verzije, ali na svu sreću među Golden Rose Holiday lakovima postoje savršene zamene. Golden Rose Holiday 56 je zamena za Mišicu sa naslovnice (Jelena i Malo Prase su uradile prikaze OPIja), a Golden Rose Holiday 53, koji ću uskoro predstaviti, zamena je za Jinx (i za njega su i Jelena i Malo Prase uradile prikaze). Golden Rose Holiday lakovi koštaju 250 dinara i imaju 11,3 ml.

You could learn from my last article that I liked OPI Magazine Cover Mouse and Jinx. I haven't been able to buy OPIs, but fortunately there are perfect dupes for them among Golden Rose Holiday polishes. Golden Rose Holiday 56 is a dupe for Magazine Cover Mouse (Jelena and Malo Prase did a review of OPI), and Golden Rose Holiday 53, review pending, is a dupe for Jinx (Jelena and Malo Prase did reviews of that one too). Golden Rose Holiday come in 11.3 ml bottles and cost about 2 €.

Teksturisani skittle

 

S vremena na vreme se ekipa lakoholičarki sa Ane skupi na piću, družimo se i isprobavamo lakove. Društvo se skupilo nedavno (više o ovom druženju možete pročitati kod Jelene) i tada sam uspela da uporedim Zoya Dahlia i Golden Rose Holiday 60 (Dahlia je nešto tamnija i ima manje srebrnih šljokica), OPI Is That Silva i Depend Magnetic 6005 (isti su, ali Silva bolje reaguje na magnet) i sada znam da zaista moram nabaviti My Vampire is Buff jer mi se mnogo dopada kako mi stoji, a maže se kao san. Takođe sam iskoristila priliku da isprobam lakove kakve inače ne bih i toliko mi se dopalo kako izgledaju da sam došla kući sa ovim teksturisanim skittle manikirom. Lakovi su redom od palca ka malom prstu: Golden Rose Holiday 54, OPI Magazine Cover Mouse, OPI Solitaire, OPI Jinx, OPI Vesper. Neočekivano mi se dopala Jinx, a ni Mišica sa naslovnice mi nije mrska.

From time to time a group of polishaholics from Ana gathers for drinks, to socialize and try out polishes. We met recently (you can read more about it at Jelena's Wonderful Colors) and I took the opportunity to compare Zoya Dahlia i Golden Rose Holiday 60 (Dahlia is somewhat darker and has less silver glitter), OPI Is That Silva i Depend Magnetic 6005 (they are the same, but Silva is easier to magnetize) and now I'm sure I have to get My Vampire is Buff because I love the way it looks on me, and it goes on like a dream. I also took the opportunity to try some polishes I normally wouldn't and I loved the way they turned out I actually went home with this textured skittle mani. From thumb to pinkie, the polishes are: Golden Rose Holiday 54, OPI Magazine Cover Mouse, OPI Solitaire, OPI Jinx, OPI Vesper. I quite unexpectedly liked Jinx, and I didn't mind Magazine Cover Mouse either.

L'Oreal Top Coat Matte

Kupih ovaj matirajući nadlak, a nikako da ga isprobam. Volim izgled zamatiranih lakova, a nekako svaki put zaboravim da zamatiram svoje manikire. Zato sam kada smo imali Kiko petak odlučila da uradim nešto što ranije nisam - da zamatiram magnetni lak. Taman sam za to upotrebila baš L'Oreal Top Coat Matte. Za bazu sam upotrebila Kiko Verdone, a magnet koji sam koristila je China Glaze Magnetix II. Kako je Verdone em sjajan, em metalik lak, na njemu se dobro vidi matirajući efekat. Nadlak je dosta izbledeo boju laka, ali to se dalo očekivati od matirajućeg nadlaka koji daje ovako snažan matirajući efekat. Začuđujuće mi je dugo trajao bez prosijavanja.

I bought this matte top coat and somehow didn't get round to trying it before. I love the look of matte polishes and I always forget to mattify mine. That's why when we had a Kiko-themed Friday I decided to do something I haven't done before - mattify a magnetic polish. For it I used L'Oreal Top Coat Matte top coat. I used Kiko Verdone as base colour and China Glaze Magnetix II magnet. As Verdone is both glossy and metallic the matte effect is quite apparent. The top coat did fade the colour quite a lot, but that is to be expected of matte top coat that is this strong. It lasted surprisingly long without becoming shiny.

Essie Licorice

Mislim da je sada pravi trenutak za kupovinu Essie lakova. Svi Essie lakovi i tretmani su do kraja avgusta na sniženju od 25% u DMu. Don Juan One Coat OC253

Ako postoji boja koju zaista ne volim na sebi, to je ružičasta. Posebno ne volim svetlije nijanse ružičaste. Don Juan One Coat OC253 je srednje-tamna nijansa ružičaste boje, malo zagasita. Ne sumnjam da bi na preplanulim prstima izgledao veoma lepo. Rekla bih da je ovo "sigurna" boja, boja koju možete nositi u bilo kojoj prilici. Konzistencija laka je odlična. Puna pokrivenost i ujednačena boja se dobijaju iz jednog srednje-debelog sloja. Suši se brzo.

If there's one colour I don't like on me, that is pink. I especially don't like lighter shades of pink. Don Juan One Coat OC253 is a bit muted medium pink. I have no doubt that it would look very nice on darker tan. I'd call this colour "safe" and wearable in any situation. The formula of the polish is amazing. One medium-thick coat gives full coverage and even colour. It dries fast.

p2 Sand Style 050 Confidential

Ko me prati na Instagramu, Facebooku ili je zašao na forum Ana.rs na temu o lakovima koji se ne mogu naći u Srbiji mogao je videti sličicu lakova koje mi je ortak doneo iz Nemačke. Ja sam mu rekla da mi uzme nešto od firme p2, a boje je sam izabrao. p2 je DMov brend inicijalno posvećen nezi i ulepšavanju noktiju, mada sada imaju i šminku. Može se nabaviti samo u Nemačkoj i Austriji, koliko sam mogla da primetim.

Hello, Kitty!

Juče smo za tematski petak tačkale nokte. Nisam htela da uradim samo obične tačkice, a ove mašnice već imaju tufnice pa sam poželela da uradim neki manikir u kome bih mogla da ih iskoristim jer ovo nije proizvod koji sam sama odabrala i teško mi je da ga uklopim u svoj stil. Kada vidim crvene i ružičaste mašnice prva pomisao mi je Hello Kitty te otud i ovaj manikir. Koristila sam Don Juan LK101 za osnovu, China Glaze City Siren za tufnice, Don Juan One Coat OC229 za macine oči i brkove i S.he Stylezone 300 za njuškicu.

Yesterday we had dotticure for the theme. I didn't want to do just a regular dotticure and these bows have polka dots so I wanted to do a mani I could use them in because this wasn't a product I picked myself and it is hard for me to incorporate them in my style. When I see red and pink bows I think of Hello Kitty. Hence this mani. Game of Thrones mani

Pre nekog vremena sam išla na A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones tematsku rođendansku proslavu. Nije bila maskarada, ali trebalo je da dođemo u bojama kuće koju predstavljamo. Moja malenkost je išla kao Blekfajer.

I went to an A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones themed birthday party some time ago. It wasn't a fancy dress party, but we were required to wear colours of the house we represented. Yours truly went as a representative of house Blackfyre.

Golden Rose Rich Color 48

Golden Rose Rich Color 48 je jedan od sada više ne toliko novih, letnjih Rich Color lakova i jedan od tri ta laka koja sam uzela čim su stigli u Kristabell.  Rich Color lakovi imaju 10,5 ml i široku, pljosnatu, zaobljenu četkicu. Koštaju 120 dinara.

Golden Rose Rich Color 48 is one of the now not so new summer shades of Rich Color line of polishes and one of the three I bought as soon as my favourite retailer got them. Rich Color polishes come in 10.5 ml bottles and have wide, flat, rounded brush.

Layla Ceramic Effect 52 The Butterfly Effect

Pre nedelju dana ne bih znala koji lak da namažem za ovaj tematski petak jer tema nam je "najneobičnija boja koju imamo". Sada imam savršen lak za ovu priliku - Layla CE52 The Butterfly Effect. Layla lakovi na žalost nisu dostupni kod nas, ali se mogu naručiti sa njihovog sajta, a ima ih i kod nekih online prodavaca. Koliko god da sam mislila da sam se u junu otrgla kontroli i preterala sa kupovinom lakova, u julu sam nabavila još više lakova, a prvi sam lak dobila tek 10. jula. To je bio OPI Just a little Rösti at This, koji sam dobila od Jipijej, a nekoliko sati kasnije sam i kupila prvi lak za taj mesec (China Glaze Red-y & Willing). Potom su svi lakovi bili na sniženju u Liliju te sam uzela dva Essence mintaća. Mint boja je za mene otkriće ovog leta. Hvala Šmizli što mi ju je otkrila.

As much as I thought that my June hauls were over the top, I managed to outdo myself in July, and I only started on June the 10th with OPI Just a little Rösti at This that I got from a fellow polish-lover Jipijej. Several hours later I had my first buy of the month (China Glaze Red-y & Willing). Then all the polishes were on special offer at Lilly drugstores and I got myself two minty Essence polishes. Mint is my discovery of the summer and I thank Šmizla for showing it to me.
