MisMatching manicure

Blogodrugarice danas rade tematski manikir posvećen dizanju svesti o raku dojke. Svakog oktobra smo preplavljeni ružičastim trakama i sličnim proizvodima, a ja ružičasti lak nemam. Umesto ružičaste, predstavljam vam petrolej i ljubičaste vrpce, koje su između ostalog znak ginekoloških kancera. Moja majka je rano ostala bez svoje majke upravo zbog ginekološkog kancera, a i druga baka mi je preminula usled jednog od njih kada sam bila mala. Mame i bake su potrebne deci. Zarad vaše dece, vaših unuka, molim vas da redovno idete kod ginekologa, radite PAPA test, pregledajte svoje grudi i vodite računa o sebi.

My fellow bloggers are doing breast cancer awareness manis today. Every October we get engulfed by pink ribbons and stuff and I don't even have a pink polish. So instead of pink, I am doing teal and purple ribbons, ribbons of gynecologic cancer awareness. My mother has lost her mother because of a gynecologic cancer and my other grandmother has also passed due to one of those. Children need their moms and grandmas. Please, for your children and your grandchildren, do go for regular gynecological check ups, have your breasts examined, have your pap smears done and take good care of yourselves.

Ovaj manikir je zaista bio jednostavan za pravljenje. Osnovna boja na palcu, srednjem i domalom prstu mi je Morgan Taylor Simply Spellbound, na kažiprstu Aura All About Him, a na maliću Don Juan OC257. Trake sam radila istim Don Juan i Aura lakovima. Na preostale nokte sam nanela Sephora Nail Designer Marble Art, ali izgleda da se njemu vremenom formula promenila pa osim efekta koji treba da pravi, još i puca. This mani was really easy to make. The main colour I have on my thumb, middle and ring fingers is Morgan Taylor Simply Spellbound, Aura All About Him is on my pointer, and Don Juan OC257 on my pinkie. I did ribbons with the same Don Juan and Aura polishes. I have applied Sephora Nail Designer Marble Art over other nails, but it seems it has changed formula in time so besides giving that spotted effect, it also shatters.
