A England Proserpine

Muka me uhvati kada pomislim da je neisprobani deo moje kolekcije lakova veći od većine celih kolekcija lakova normalnih ljudi. Polako, ali sigurno prolazim kroz sve neisprobance i danas je na redu poslednji A England koji još uvek nisam nosila, iako ga imam 5 godina.
I get sick to my stomach when I think that there are more polishes in my untrieds than in most normal people's full collections. However, I am going through them one at a time and today I get to show you the last A England polish that has remained unworn for 5 years.
Proserpine je metalik petrolej plavi lak sa rasutim holo efektom. Tipično za A England lakove ovog tipa, pigmentacija je fantastična. Jedan sloj je dovoljan i za punu boju i za ravnomerno pokrivanje. Dodala sam drugi čisto iz navike, ali i zato što mi se pokazalo da je postojanost lakova bolja kada se nanesu dva sloja. Holo efekat je diskretan, kako je i uobičajeno za ovaj brend, ali bazna boja ga dodatno prikriva. Samo se nadam da mi neće i on obojiti nokte.
Proserpine is a metallic teal polish with scattered holo effect. Typically for A England polishes of this sort, it is fantastically pigmented. It takes a single coat for full coverage and even application. I added the second coat out for habit, but also for wear, because I have found that polishes last longer if I wear two coats. Holo effect is subtle, as is usual for this brand, but base colour hides it somewhat. I only hope it won't stain my nails.

    Haha yes I know that feeling. I nearly died when someone told me about their nail polish collection......7 bottles :-O

    This is gorgeous. I have had a few staining with a-England polishes. You'll need to let me know if it does stain!

      The thing is, I had around 50 polishes when I was in primary and high school. I stopped biting my nails when I was 13 and immediately made a collection of cheap polishes that were available in Yugoslavia then - Kost, Lori Anne, Golden Rose, Constance Carol. And then I started uni and somehow lost interest in colours except black and red. I still have a swatch book of my old polishes from 20 years ago, though. :D

      I started off with about 50 or 60 before I started blogging. Oh that is so cool you have the old book. You totally should make a post about it, I'd love to see it :-D
