Mart nije bio bogat novitetima, valjda zato što sam se čuvala za Sajam kozmetike koji će biti održan narednog vikenda. Nadam sam se da ću tamo naći Zoya lakove sa svoje liste želja. Još uvek ne znam da li će stići za Sajam, ali posle njega bi svakako trebalo da ih bude u Ultra Sunu. U određene Lilly drogerije su stigli drogerijski Essie lakovi. Spisak drogerija i boja u ponudi možete videti na stranici Essie Srbija. Lakovi koštaju 899 dinara, a tretmani za nokte 999 dinara.

I didn't get many new stuff in March, I guess because I was saving myself for the Cosmetics Fair that is going to be held next weekend. I hope I'll be able to get several Zoya polishes from my wish list. I still don't know whether the Zoyas will arrive in time for the Fair, but we'll be able to get them afterwards. Drugstore version of Essie polishes is also available now in Serbia.
On a partly related note, I should visit the Netherlands in April or May and I'd appreciate any information on whether Color Club polishes are available in stores in Amsterdam or just online and which retailers you'd recommend.

Deborah Prêt à Porter 50 Pistache Green

Danas na Ani za temu imamo pastelene lakove. Deborah Prêt à Porter 50 Pistache Green jedini je lak koji imam koji bi mogao odgovarati temi. Do njega sam došla razmenom i zaista ne znam iz koje je kolekcije, mada mi se čini da je iz 2012. godine, dakle od onih lakova koji se sa mnom ne slažu baš najbolje. Deborah Prêt à Porter lakovi koštaju oko 270 dinara, imaju 4,5 ml, ne sadrže toluen i mogu se naći u svakom Jasminu, DM-u i Liliju. Boje prikazane na sajtu su verne stvarnom izgledu u bočici. Theme for this week at Ana is pastel colours. I only have one polish that might be considered as pastel and that is Deborah Prêt à Porter 50 Pistache Green. I got it in a swap and I have no idea which collection it was from, but I think that it is from year 2012. and therefore one of those that for some reason don't agree with my nails. Deborah Prêt à Porter polishes come in 4.5 ml bottles and are toluene-free. Colours shown on their website are fateful to what they look in the bottle. Essie Luxedo

Luxedo je lak iz zimske kolekcije Essie lakova za 2010. godinu. Na Essie sajtu je nazvan "najdubljom šljivom" i preporučeno je da se "opremite njime i hrabro krenete kuda nijedan čovek nije ranije pošao". Meni je tokom proteklih godinu dana bio na listi želja pa skidan sa nje i opet vraćan. Kada je Jelena napravila veliku rasprodaju svojih lakova ipak sam prelomila i uzela ga.
Sveža vest je da će se uskoro Essie lakovi, mada pretpostavljam samo drogerijska, ne salonska verzija, naći u široj prodaji u Srbiji (spominju se Lilly drogerije). O svemu bi trebalo da možemo da se informišemo na strani Essie Srbija.

Luxedo is part of Essie Winter 2010. collection. On the official website it is called "deepest plum" and it is suggested to "suit up in this deepest plum and boldly go where no man has gone before". During the last year it has been on and off my wish list and I finally gave in and bought it when Jelena made a big polish sale.

Flormar Magnetic Twist MG05

Prvi put sa videla Flormar magnetne lakove na prošlogodišnjem aprilskom Sajmu kozmetike, ali još ih nisu postavili na štand u vreme kada sam ja morala da odem sa Sajma. Posle sam u nekoliko navrata pokušavala da od tadašnjeg uvoznika, a uz pomoć mojih dragih devojaka iz Kristabell, naručim dve nijanse, ali uzalud. Te dve nijanse nisu stizale. Potom je došao novi uvoznik, koji je udvostručio cene i ja sam odustala od kupovine ovih lakova u Srbiji (možda se sećate moje kuknjave zbog novog uvoznika). Zaista sam mislila da neću kupiti ništa kod njih, ali su pre neki dan dali 50% popusta na Magnetic Twist, Nail Art i Graffiti linije lakova za nokte, što je zaista povoljna ponuda. Ovaj popust važi do 28. marta na njihovim prodajnim mestima u Ušću, Merkatoru i na Bulevaru Revolucije. Redovna cena Magnetic Twist linije je 409 dinara, a sada su 205 dinara. U kolekciji je osam lakova, imaju 11 ml i uz svaki lak se dobija magnet koji pravi šaru dijagonalne pruge.

I first saw Flormar magnetic polishes last spring at Cosmetics fair, but they weren't yet displayed at the time I had to leave. Afterwards I tried to order two shades several times, but to no avail. Those shades never arrived. Then we got new importer, who doubled the prices and I gave up on buying these polishes in Serbia. I really thought I wouldn't buy anything from them, but they gave 50% discount on Magnetic Twist, Nail Art and Graffiti nail polish lines. Magnetic Twist polishes come in eight shades, 11 ml bottles and with a magnet with diagonal lines design.

Splatter

Splatter ili prskani manikir je tema za ovu nedelju. Ovo je tehnika koju sam dugo želela da isprobam, ali se nisam usuđivala jer sam se plašila nereda. Ispostavilo se da sam se plašila bez razloga jer nisam prskala mnogo oko šaka, mada su mi cele šake bile umazane bojom. Prvo sam mislila da ću moći da izbegnem slamčicu i uzela sam lepezastu četkicu, razredila acetonom lakove i krenula da prskam. Rezultat je bio gomila kapljica koje se razlivaju i prekrivaju cele nokte. Posle sam prešla na slamčicu i nerazređen lak i, mada krajnji proizvod nije savršen, ispao je mnogo bolje nego što sam očekivala.<

Splatter mani is the theme for this week. This is a technique I've wanted to try for a long time now, but was afraid I'd make a mess. My fear was unjustified because I didn't make much mess around my hands, but my hands were covered in paint. At first I thought I could avoid using straw and I took my fan brush, diluted the polish with pure acetone and started to sprinkle the polish. The result was nail polish droplets that spread all over my nails. I took it off and started anew with undiluted polish and plastic straw and, although the end result isn't perfect, it turned out far better than I expected.

Essence Alice Had a Vision - Again

Alice Had a Vision - Again je jedan od četiri laka koja je jesenas Essence izbacio u sklopu trend kolekcije The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II. Iako sam ga uzela još u novembru nikako nisam mogla da se nateram da ga isprobam. Sada više ove kolekcije nema u ponudi, lakovi su rasprodati (osim možda ponekog zlatnog zaostalog), a vreme je juče bilo sunčano i dušu dalo za ponosno šetanje tamnog svetlucavog laka.

Alice Had a Vision - Again is one of four polishes from last autumn's Essence The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II trend edition. Even though I bought it in November, I couldn't make myself try it. Now this collection isn't available any more, polishes have been long sold out and the sunny weather we are having these days seems perfect for wearing dark shimmery polish.

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 123

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 123 je drugi od dva nova Jolly Jewels laka koja sam uzela. Ovo je tek drugi crno-beli šljokičavi toper koji se kod nas pojavio i znatno je povoljniji od drugog (L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Les Top Coats Confetti 916). Jolly Jewels lakovi imaju 10,8 ml i koštaju oko 250 dinara. U Kristabell se ovaj lak odmah rasprodao, ali dopuna treba da stigne ovih dana.

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 123 is the second of the two new Jolly Jewels polishes I bought. This is only second black and white topper available in Serbia and is much more affordable than the other one (L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Les Top Coats Confetti 916). Jolly Jewels polishes come in 10.8 ml bottles and cost about € 2-2.5.

Aura She Bunny 515

Zimus je Aura izbacila nekoliko novih She Bunny lakova živih boja. Ovo je jedini od tih koji sam uzela. Nisam nameravala da ga nosim samog već da ga iskoristim za mućkanje nečega što bi podsećalo na China Glaze Smoke & Ashes, ali tom poslu još nisam pristupila. She Bunny lakovi imaju 5,5 ml i koštaju oko 90 dinara.

This winter Aura placed several new She Bunny polishes on the market, but I only got this one. I didn't mean to wear it on its own but to use it for making a franken that would resemble China Glaze Smoke & Ashes, but I still haven't done that. She Bunny polishes come in 5.5 ml and cost under €1.

China Glaze Stroll

Stroll (80316) je lak iz Retro Diva kolekcije za jesen 2009. Izgleda da više nije u stalnoj ponudi, mada se kod nas još može naći u Alexandar Cosmetics i kod njihovih distributera u drugim gradovima. Ovaj sam lak na blic prikazala u poređenju sa Rimmel Fierce Cherry, ali evo detaljnijeg predstavljanja.

Stroll (80316) was part of China Glaze Retro Diva Collection for autumn 2009. and it seems that it is now sadly discontinued (I was convinced it is part of their core line). I have shown comparison pictures of this polish when I did a post on Rimmel Fierce Cherry and here comes more detailed post.

NailsIT Remembrance

Od pet NailsIT lakova koje sam imala zadovoljstvo da dobijem, Remembrance je najduže čekao da ga isprobam. Već sam spomenula da se sa plavom bojom ne slažem najbolje, a ovaj me je lak veoma privukao kada sam ga videla na prvim sličicama. Pripada Memorial day kolekciji i izgleda da se više ne može nabaviti. Šteta, jer NailsIT lakovi, svih pet koje imam, pokazali su se kao veoma dobri.

Out of five NailsIT polishes I had the pleasure to get, Remembrance waited the longest to be tried. I have already mentioned blue doesn't agree with me, but this polish attracted me when I first saw its photo. It was part of the Memorial day release and it seems to be unavailable, which is shame because all five NailsIT polishes I have turned out to be quite good.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire

Lepo je vreme bilo ovih dana. Sunčano. Dušu dalo za slikanje šimera, duohroma, multihroma i prizmatičnih lakova. Taman da isprobam Max Factor Fantasy Fire koji sam dobila u Chop Suey Nails nagradnoj igri.

We've been having rather nice weather these past few days. Sunny. Great for taking photos of shimmery, duochrome, multichrome and prismatic polishes. Perfect for trying out Max Factor Fantasy Fire I won at Chop Suey Nails giveaway.

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 121

Golden Rose je nedavno izbacio šest novih Jolly Jewels lakova, a kod nas su se pojavili pre nekoliko dana. Čim su stigli u Kristabell otišla sam da uzmem dva koja sam znala da ću kupiti čim sam videla ovu sličicu.

Golden Rose With Protein 298

Ovo mi je najstariji neisprobani lak u kolekciji. Uzela sam ga prošlog jula, a onda sam shvatila da mi se baš i ne dopada i nisam mogla da se nateram da ga isprobam. Kako sam već imala namazan divni Ski Teal We Drop i kako je sunce granulo, palo mi je na pamet da bih napokon mogla da ga namažem i jednom za svagda odlučim da li ću ga zadržati ili proslediti (proslediću ga ;-) ).

This is my oldest untried polish. I bought it last July, and then I realized I didn't like it that much and I couldn't bring myself to try it on my nails. As I was already wearing gorgeous Ski Teal We Drop and since there was so much sunshine, I decided it was high time to try this polish and decide once and for all if I was going to keep it or pass it on (I shall pass it on ;-) ).

Essence Metallics 05 Metal Battle

Metal Battle je jedini nemagnetni lak iz Metallics kolekcije za oktobar/novembar 2010. godine i odavno nije dostupan. To je bilo vreme pre nego što me je lakoholizam ponovo uhvatio te sam tu kolekciju propustila. Zbog magnetnih lakova mi nije previše žao jer mi se ove boje ne sviđaju previše, a ni kvalitet Essence magnetnih lakova nije baš visok, ali kako veoma volim crne lakove i varijacije na temu, malo me je (ali samo malo) mučilo što nisam uzela Metal Battle. A onda je pred kraj prošle godine Zmayachek sa Ane ponudila svoj za razmenu te sam ja tu priliku iskoristila.

Metal Battle is the only non-magnetic polish from Essence Metallics collection that came out in October 2010. and has been long unavailable. At that time I have not yet caught the polishacholism bug again so I missed the collection. I don't care that much for the magnetic polishes because I don't like these colours very much and Essence magnetic polishes aren't that good, but being a sucker for black and similar polishes I was a bit (but just a bit) sorry I missed Metal Battle. Last year Zmayachek from Ana offered hers for swap and I got it.

OPI Ski Teal We Drop

Imala sam zadovoljstvo da na druženju lakoholičarki isprobam OPI Ski Teal We Drop i odmah sam se u njega zaljubila. Nisam ljubitelj plave i zelene boje na sebi, a petrolej nijanse volim, ali me umrtve te ih izbegavam u odevanju, ali ovaj petrolej lak sam znala da moram kupiti. Naručila sam ga iz subotičke firme Nail Line i moram da pohvalim njihov odnos prema kupcima. Kada mi je stigao paketić sa lakovima koje smo Zmayachek i ja naručile, jedan od lakova (baš Ski) bio je polomljen. Odmah sam javila Nail Lineu, a oni su mi istog dana poslali zamenu celog paketa. Pošto mi se ranije nije desilo da dobijem oštećen proizvod nisam baš znala šta da radim te su mi iz Nail Linea rekli da paket uvek otvorim pred kurirom kako bih proverila da li je sve u redu jer ako nije, kurir može na licu mesta da napravi zapisnik i vrati pošiljku.

I had the pleasure of trying Ski Teal We Drop on at one of the polishaholics' meetings we had and I fell in love with it instantly. I don't like how blue and green look on me and, while I do like teal shades, they make me look really sallow, so I avoid them in clothing, but this teal polish had to be mine. I ordered it from Nail Line from Subotica and I just have to commend their customer service. One of the polishes I ordered was broken, they sent me replacement package the same day and it arrived the next day.
