China Glaze Cabin Fever

Poslednjih nekoliko dana se kroz oblake promalja i neko svetlo te sam iskoristila priliku da malo nosim jedan od aktuelnih duohromatskih lakova. Ovo je China Glaze Cabin Fever, koji ne samo što je iz jesenje kolekcije (The Great Outdoors), nego je i u pravim jesenjim bojama. These past few days we've had some light shining through clouds so I took the opportunity to wear one of current duochrome polishes. This is China Glaze Cabin Fever, which is not only part of an autumn collection (The Great Outdoors), but is in true autumnal shades.

Depend Chameleon 2088 Hot Lava - Catrice Chromeo & Julia - China Glaze Cabin Fever - Dance Legend Mars

China Glaze Cabin Fever (82713) je duohrom koji se preliva od ružičasto-bakarne do mesingano-zlataste. Ako vam ovo deluje poznato, mislim da sam na sličan način do sada opisala barem dva laka - Depend Hot Lava i Catrice Chromeo & Julia. Na slikama iznad i ispod ćete videti da je ružičasti aspekt ovog laka zaista blizak ružičastim odsjajima druga dva, ali zato je drugi kraj preliva veoma različit i više podseća na Depend Gold Rush. Po tonu mu je možda najsličniji Dance Legend Mars, ali on je potpuno drugog finiša, da ne spominjem kako se više ne može ni nabaviti.

Catrice Chromeo & Julia - Depend Chameleon 2088 Hot Lava - China Glaze Cabin Fever - Depend Chameleon 2089 Gold Rush

China Glaze Cabin Fever (82713) is a duochrome which shifts from coppery-pink to brassy-golden tone. If this sounds familiar to you, I think I have described at least two polishes in a similar way - Depend Hot Lava and Catrice Chromeo & Julia. You can see in the photos above how pink aspect of this polish is really close to the other two, but other end of the shift is quite different and resembles more Depend Gold Rush. I think it is closest to Dance Legend Mars in terms of tone, but that one has quite different finish, and not to mention that it is no longer available.

Što se ostalih osobina ovog laka tiče, pre svega veoma je lepo pigmentisan. Dva tanka sloja su potrebna za punu boju i ravnomernu pokrivenost i potrudite se da to budu baš tanki slojevi kako biste izbegli preterano upadljive tragove četkice u šimeru. Nije visokog sjaja, više je metalik završnice. Plašila sam se da će se dugo sušiti, ali to na svu sreću nije bio slučaj. Nosila sam ga par dana bez nadlaka i nosila bih ga i duže da mi se jedan nokat nije okrnjio i da nisam morala da skinem lak kako bih skratila nokte. Slike su snimljene na dnevnom svetlu. Imam dva sloja laka i nemam nadlak.

As far as other traits of this polish are concerned, first and foremost it is really well pigmented. It takes two thin coats to get full colour and even coverage and do try to make them as thin as possible in order to avoid visible brushstrokes. It doesn't have high gloss, it dries to a more metallic finish. I was worried that it might take long time to dry, but fortunately that wasn't the case. I have worn it for a couple of days without top coat and I'd still wear it if I hadn't chipped one nail and had to remove polish in order to shorten nails. Photos were taken in natural light. I have two coats of polish and no top coat.
