Kako sam osoba koja ne prati modu, trendove i sl. ova tema mi je posebno teško pala. No, s druge strane, tema je takva da nismo ograničeni samo na savremene modne tendencije već se možemo inspirisati i modom prohujalih doba ili drugih naroda, civilizacija. Stoga sam se odlučila da inspiraciju potražim u dalekom Japanu, a tome je sasvim sigurno doprinela činjenica da je prošle nedelje održan Japanizam i da se preko puta mog štanda nalazio štand Tsubaki kimono.

Being someone who is not into fashion, trends and such, I found this theme to be a chore, which is why I am only publishing this article at the last moment. However, on the other hand, the theme is such that we are not limited to current fashion trends, but we can take our inspiration from fashion of times gone by, of different peoples or civilisations. That is why I looked for my inspiration far away, in Japan, and the fact that Japanizam had just ended and that Tsubaki kimono booth was right across mine had figured greatly in this decision.

Sve ređe stižem da pečatiram, a sve češće imam želju za pečatiranjem. Nekako sam uspela između redovnih obaveza da uradim nekoliko pečatnih manikira - dovoljno za prikaz ove lepe pločice. I have less and less time for nail stamping, but want to stamp more often than usual. I have finally managed to do several stamping manis between my daily duties - enough to showcase this nice image plate. Kada sam zimus imala priliku da dođem do nekih nama teško dostupnih ili čak potpuno nedostupnih indie lakova, Darling Diva lakovi su bili među onima koje sam morala da ih zgrabim čim sam ih ugledala. Uzela sam svega dva, oba iz kolekcije Salem za Noć veštica 2014. godine. Iako ovaj lak nije više dostupan, Darling Diva stalno izbacuje nove zanimljive boje, koje se mogu nabaviti direktno od proizvođača.

Last winter, when an opportunity arose for me to get some hard to come by indie polishes, Darling Diva polishes were the ones I had to get as soon as I had seen them. I have only gotten two, both from The Salem collection, a Halloween 2014. limited edition collection. Even though this polish is no longer available, Darling Diva keeps coming up with new interesting shades, which can be purchased directly from the manufacturer.

Sve više i više sam razočarana uvozničkim odlukama kada je u pitanju izbor nijansi lakova dostupnih na našem tržištu. Još jedan brend koji inače ima pristojnu paletu lakova za nokte, a koji je u našim drogerijama sveden na nijanse crvene, roze i boje kože je Catrice. Ne znam da li kod nas ima ukupno pet lakova koji nisu iz tog spektra, ali zato se ti malobrojni lakovi ističu među drugima. Tako mi je u korpi jednog lepog dana završio lak koji se imenom i bojom pri veštačkom svetlu pretvara da je mint. Catrice lakovi imaju 10 ml, mogu se nabaviti samo u DMu i koštaju 309 dinara.

I am more and more disappointed by importers decisions when it comes to choice of nail polish shades available in our drugstores. Another brand that has a decent palette and which has been reduced to shades of nude, pink and red is Catrice. I don't know if there are five polishes not from that spectrum, but those few do stand out among other polishes. That is how one fine day a polish that pretends to be mint ended up in my shopping basket. Catrice polishes come in 10 ml bottles and retail for about €2.5.

Ako redovno pratite blog, mogli ste da vidite da sam u junu bila jedno vreme sprečena da redovno postujem, zbog čega mi je veoma žao. Stari lap top mi je otišao nekom IT bogu na istinu, a glavni novitet ovog meseca mi je nova makina. No bilo je i dosta noktonovina, ne najmanje zahvaljujući otvaranju Unitecha u komšiluku mi.

If you are regular reader of my blog, you know that I've been unable to post regularly for awhile, for which I am very sorry. My old lap top has gone to meet its IT god and the main new item for this month is the new lap top. However, there were quite a few nails-related new arrivals, which may have something to do with the new Unitech store right in my neighbourhood.
