Dance Legend Big Bang

Još jedan lak koji dugo čeka da ga isprobam je Dance Legend Big Bang. Uzela sam ga za rođendan 2015. godine sa Hypnotic Polish sajta, koji više nažalost ne dostavlja za Srbiju. Cela Galaxy kolekcija se još uvek proizvodi i može se nabaviti preko zvaničnog Dance Legend sajta.

Another polish that has been waiting for a long time to be worn is Dance Legend Big Bang. I got it for birthday in 2015. from Hypnotic Polish. The entire Galaxy collection is still manufacuted and can be ordered from the official Dance Legend website.

Golden Rose Holographic 07

Od svih holo lakova koje imam, najređe nosim srebrne/sive. Zašto sam onda uzela dva siva Golden Rose holo laka koji deluju kao djupovi za neke koje već imam u kolekciji? Zato što sam veverica, a ponekada i zmaj. Veverica kupuje da bi imala, ne nužno da bi koristila, a zmaja privlače svetlucave stvari. Dodajmo na to činjenicu da su GR lakovi veoma pristupačni i eto savršenog recepta za impulsivnu kupovinu. Na svu sreću (ili nesreću), nijedan od ova dva laka ne može više da se nađe, ali druge boje su još uvek dostupne.

Out of all holo polishes I have, I wear silver/grey ones the least. Why then did I buy two such Golden Rose polishes that look like dupes for some of the ones I alrady have in my collection? Acquisition disorder. I am a squirrel and sometimes a dragon. Squirrel buys things to own them, not necesarrily to use them, and dragon is drawn to shiny things. Add to that the fact that Golden Rose polishes are quite inexpensive and you have a perfect recipe for an impulsive purchase. Fortunately (or not), neither of the two polishes is available anymore, but in Serbia you can still find some of the other colours.

OPI DS Original

Pre par godina me je za rođendan Jeca iznenadila lakom koji nikada nisam očekivala da ću posedovati - OPI DS Original iz 2008. godine. Mada su u međuvremenu izašli mnogo kvalitetniji holo lakovi, ovaj vredi spomenuti jer bih rekla da je bio ispred svog vremena. I ispred onoga što OPI danas radi.

A couple of years ago, Jeca surprised me with a polish I never expected to own - OPI DS Original, from 2008. While much better holo polishes have been made since, this one deserves a mention because it was ahead of its time. And ahead of what OPI is doing today.

Dance Legend Roz

Davnijeh dana smo draga Suzana i ja razmenjivale poklone za rođendane i praznike i Roz je bio jedan od lakova koje sam dobila od nje. Trebalo je da prođe samo četiri godine da ga probam, iako mi je bio na listi želja pre nego što sam ga dobila. Dance Legend lakovi se mogu nabaviti kod raznih online trgovaca, kao i sa zvaničnog sajta.

In the olden days, my dear Suzana and I used to exchange gifts for birthdays and holidays and Roz was one of the polishes I got from her. It only took me four years to try it out, even though it was on my wish list at the time I got it. Donce Legend polishes can be ordered from many etailers, as well as from the official website.

Wycon Sugar Effect 808 Blu Glitter

Ne znam zašto nisam ranije objavila ovaj članak, imajući u vidu da sam slike snimila još 2017. godine i da je Wycon u međuvremenu stigao u Srbiju. No to sada nije važno. Važno je da su nažalost za proizvođače teksturci bili samo prolazni trend za sezonu-dve, a meni su među omiljenim lakovima i za njima posežem kada ne znam šta bih namazala.

I don't know why I haven't published this post earlier considering that I have taken these photos in 2017. and that Wycon has since come to Serbia. However, that doesn't matter. What matters is that, sadly, textured polishes were just a fad for manufacturers, and they turned out to be among my favourite polishes and that they are my go-tos whenever I don't know what to wear on my nails.

ILNP Nostalgia (H)

Skoro je jesen, a ja još uvek nisam pokazala lak koji sam nosila krajem proleća, na Japanizmu. Nostalgia je jedan od mnogih lakova koje sam prošle godine nabavila preko blogorasprodaje. It is nearly autumn and I still haven't written about a polish that I wore for this year's Japanizam. ILNP Nostalgia is one of many polishes I got through a blog sale. Born Pretty Shine in the Dark

Born Pretty Store je izgleda zaista odlučio da pravi dobre linearne holo lakove. Ovaj koji danas predstavljam je bio ljubav na prvo mazanje. Puna cena mu je 20$, što je za preskupo za 10 ml laka, ali trenutno se nalazi na sniženju i može se kupiti upola cene.

Born Pretty Store seems to have truly decided to make good linear holo polishes. The one I am showing you today was love at first stroke. It costs $20, which is too much for 10 ml of polish, but it is currently discounted and you can get it at half the price.

Literary Lacquers Camazotz

Letos sam se opskrbila Literary Lacquers lakovima jer mi je bilo nemoguće da odolim sjajnoj ponudi i činjenici da je svaki lak inspirisan književnim delom. Literary Lacquers lakovi su ručno pravljeni, a mogu se nabaviti u autorkinoj Etsy radnji, koja se ponovo otvara u februaru. Pakovanje je od 15 ml, a cene variraju od laka do laka.

CND Vinylux Gilded Pleasure

Štand na sajmu kozmetike sa kog se ne vraćam praznih ruku je Unitech, bilo zato što sam sama uzela nešto, bilo zato što mi dobra vila Verica napravi paketić. Ovog puta je odabrala zaista lep set i ubacila mi dva Vinylux laka. Jedan je bio po mom izboru, a ja ću danas pričati o Gilded Pleasure, laku koji je ona odabrala. Cosmetics expo booth that I am not leaving empty-handed is Unitech, be it because I got myself something nice, or because Verica, my CND fairy godmother, makes me a package. This time she made a really nice set, with two Vinylux polishes - one of my choice and the other one that she had picked herself. Today I am writing about her pick - Gilded Pleasure.

There was a couple of duochrome polishe in my favourite colour shift (purple to green) among those ILNP polishes that I got this summer, This is the only one I think that I could give a miss, because it is too similar to other polishes I already have. Nurbesten Clear Jelly Stamper

Prošli put kada sam birala proizvode sa Nurbesten sajta, silno sam želela da isprobam ovaj pečat, ali nisu ga imali na stanju pa su mi poslali XXL prozirni pečat. No imala sam svoje razloge zašto želim baš ovaj pečat i ovog puta sam uspela da dođem do njega.

Last time I got to chose products from NurBesten store for review, I wanted to give this stamper a try. Sadly it was sold out and they sent me XXL clear stamper, but I had my reasons why I wanted this particular one and this time I managed to get it.

Essie Maximillian Strasse Her

Osim crvenih, roze i nude lakova, koji verovatno čine 90% boja u Essie postavci, Essie veoma često pravi i zasivljene plave i zelene lakove, koji se, kada se smene kolekcije, obično mesecima povlače po policama i činijama sa robom na rasprodaji. Ponekada čak po zaista neverovatnim cenama, na koje ja retko naletim, ali imam dobre drugarice lakoholičarke koje uredno javljaju kada nalete na neku takvu ponudu. Tako je i ovaj lak došao do mene, za "ogromnih" 209 dinara.

Essie is know by red, pink and nude polishes, which probably make 90% of their entire production, but they also make greyed-out green and blue polishes quite often. Those polishes end up in discount bins and usually remain there for months, ending up with a ridiculously low price tag. Now, I seldom run into Essies at that low a price, but fortunately I have very good polishaholic friends who tend to tip me off about them, which is how I came to own this one for less than €2.

Smatrala sam da imam dovoljno sličnih lakova i da mi, iako je sasvim po mom ukusu, ne treba još jedan. No čim se ukazala prva prilika da ga uzmem, zgrabila sam je i sada je ova divota moja. Look by Bipa Glitter Lilac

Ne znam kako se desilo da od četiri odlična Look by Bipa teksturca koja mi je Suzana zimus poslala, čak tri nisam pokazala. Tu grešku ispravljam odmah sada odmah. Look by Bipa je robna marka Bipa drogerija, kojih znam da ima u Austriji, Hrvatskoj i Nizozemskoj, verovatno i drugde. Ovi peskasti lakovi dolaze u pakovanju od 7 ml, a cena im je oko € 2.

I don't know how it happened that I haven't shown you three out of four great Look by Bipa textured polishes that Suzana sent me for last winter's holidays. I am going to correct that mistake right now. Look by Bipa is Bipa store house brand. I know they have shops in Austria, Croatia and the Netherlands, probably elsewhere as well. These gritty polishes come in 7 ml bottles and retail for about € 2.

OPI This Cost Me A Mint

Znate da je kolekcija nežnih boja dobra kada se nekome poput mene dopadnu čak dve od šest nijansi. To je bio slučaj sa ovogodišnjom OPI Soft Shades kolekcijom. No, pošto su u dve prolećno kolekcije izbacili dva pastelno-žuta laka, nisam mogla da prelomim koji bih uzela te sam uzela samo mintać. OPI lakovi ne koštaju pravo bogatstvo, ali nisu ni jeftini s obzirom na cenu od 990-1200 dinara. Ima ih u Sefori, Primax apotekama, Ivančić i sinovi apotekama i u Nail Line-u. U Primax-u su neke boje na rasprodaji i možete ih uzeti za 700 dinara, a svakog 15. u mesecu možete nesnižene lakove kupiti sa 15% popusta, dok su kod Ivančića u Nušićevoj na sniženju od 20% svakog prvog četvrtka u mesecu.

You can tell that soft colours collection is good when even someone like myself likes two shades out of six. That was the case with this year's OPI Soft Shades collection. However, since they have made two pastel yellows for two spring collections, I could not decide which one I like better so I only got myself a mint polish. Despite the name, it did not cost a mint, but a bit less.

Born Pretty Chameleon 32

Koliko purpurno-zelenih multihrom lakova mi je potrebno? Izgleda svi. :D Ovaj je iz dodatka Born Pretty Chameleon kolekciji lakova, u kojoj se nalaze zapravo već viđene boje, ali obogaćene šljokicama. Born Pretty Chameleon lakovi su zbunjujuće spakovani u bočice sa natpisom Holo Polish, a pakovanje je od 6 ml. Cena im je previsoka i za količinu i za kvalitet ($15,88), ali često su na sniženju te se ovaj trenutno može kupiti za "samo" $6,99.

How many purple-green multichrome polishes do I need? Apparently all of them. :D This one is from the addition to the Born Pretty Chameleon collection, which contains already seen colours, but enriched with glitter. Born Pretty Chameleon polishes come in 6 ml bottles with confusing Holo Polish label. I find the price of $15.88 too high for this amount and quality, but they are often at some sort of discount and at the moment this one retails for "just" $6.99.

CND Vinylux Bicycle Yellow

Videli ste u mesečnom pregledu da sam uzela pet novih Vinylux lakova, a čak dva od njih su žuta. Vinylux su prvi hibridni lakovi u svetu, a i kod nas, i njihov sistem se sastoji iz stotinak boja lakova i brzosušećeg nadlaka. Kod nas su dostupni u Unitechu, i u prodavnicama i preko sajta, a cena im je 1117 dinara za 15 ml proizvoda.

You could see in the monthly overview that I have gotten five new Vinylux polishes, and two of those are yellow. Vinylux is the original hybrid nail polish and the system consists of over a hundred colours and top coat.

Rimmel Super Gel lakovi

U mesečnom pregledu noviteta ste mogli da vidite da su nam u drogerije stigli Rimmel Super Gel lakovi. Ovo je sistem hibridnih lakova koji trenutno čini dvadeset lakova u boji (kod nas dostupno šesnaest) i nadlak. Veoma ambiciozno obećavaju postojanost do čak dve nedelje, a kako su se pokazali na delu možete pročitati u nastavku teksta.

You could see in my monthly overview that new Rimmel Super Gel polishes have arrived in our stores. This is a hybrid polish system, consisting of twenty colour polishes and a top coat. They are quite ambitiously promisin up to two weeks of wear and you can read how they performed in the article below.

OPI Russian Navy Suede

Tema današnjeg članka je lak koji mi najduže stoji neisproban. Sa skoro tri godine u mojoj kolekciji, bez nošenja i bez predstavljanja, OPI Russian Navy Suede slobodno mogu nazvati najzapostavljenijim lakom. Suede kolekcija već neko vreme nije dostupna, ali povremeno na Krpicama i sličnim sajtovima osvane neki primerak.

The theme of today's post is a polish that has been among my untrieds for the longest time. With nearly three years in my collection without being worn or shown, I can freely name OPI Russian Navy Suede my most neglected polish. Suede polishes have long been discontinued, but sometimes polishes from it can be found on Ebay and similar websites.
