U Rimu sam svratila i do Kiko radnje jer sam želela da uzmem jedan od njihovih lakova koji mi je u prethodnim nabavkama promakao, ali sam se neprijatno iznenadila kada sam videla da su svoju klasičnu liniju zamenili novom linijom Smart lakova. Ovi lakovi su brzosušeći, ima ih u 48, prilično neinspirativnih boja. I pored toga sam uzela dva, da vidim da li ćemo se bolje slagati (nisam bila preterano zadovoljna ranijim kolekcijama). Lakovi su u pakovanju od 7 ml, a redovna cena im je 2,5 €.
I paid a visit to a Kiko store in Rome, because I wanted to get one of their polishes that I had previously missed, but I was unpleasantly surprised to find that their classic nail polish line had been discontinued and substituted for Smart line of polishes. These are fast-drying polishes that come in 48, rather uninspiring shades. Despite that I got two of them, to see if we'd get along better (I was not too happy with previous collections). Polishes come in 7 ml bottles and retail for € 2.5.
Kiko Smart 038 Rame Metallico (metalni bakar, metalik bakar?) je prigušeno-narandžasti sedefasti lak. Suviše je narandžast da bi bio bakaran, a sjaj mu nije metalik, ali boja mi se sviđa pa ću preći preko potpuno neprikladnog imena. Preko konzistencije laka mi je već teže da pređem tako lako. Lak je gust i ne maže se baš lako, a nije dovoljno pigmentisan. Punu boju sam dobila tek iz tri sloja, a iako se Smart linija predstavlja kao brzosušeća, zbog gustine i broja slojeva sušio se veoma dugo. Ako izuzmemo boju, koja mi je po volji, i visok sjaj, sve drugo na ovom laku je potpun promašaj i ne mogu vam preporučiti da ga kupite. Slike su snimljene na prirodnom svetlu. Imam tri sloja laka i nemam nadlak.
Kiko Smart 038 Rame Metallico (Metallic Copper) is muted orange frost polish. It is too orange to be copper and not metallic enough, but I like the colour so I shall not hold this misnomer against them. It is more difficult to overlook the formula. It is too thick and doesn't go on smoothly, yet it is not pigmented enough. It took me three coats to get even colour and even though Smart line is presented as fast-drying, it dried slowly because of thickness and the number of coats. With the exception of colour, which I like, and high gloss, this polish is a failure and I can't recommend that you buy it. Photos were taken in natural light. I have two coats of polish and no top coat.
I like the glow inside, butthe finish not so much.

I don't hold Kiko in too high regard - it was a bit of hit and miss for me, but this is appalling.
DeleteIn my Kiko store they carry both the classic line and this one! Maybe you can check online? I know they ship everywhere. And btw I hate this new line, too.
ReplyDeleteThey do have some shades online, but shipping would be too much for just one polish. Thank you for letting me know that there are still some stores that carry regular line. Perhaps some of my friends who plan to travel abroad soon could look them up for me.
DeleteSvaki put se iz Italije vratim sa ponekim Kiko lakom, volela sam njihovu Cupcake kolekciju i par njihovih lakova su mi među najdražim (255 Violet Microglitter i 497 Pearly Indian Violet). Ali je apsolutna istina da često omaše opis nijanse :D
