Oriflame Nail Care

Veoma retko pišem o proizvodima iz kataloške prodaje, ne zato što imam nešto protiv njih (mada imam zamerke, posebno na nedostatak uputstva i/ili spiska sastojaka) već zato što nemam nikog bliskog ko se bavi prodajom te robe, a iskreno ni ponuda mi nije preterano zanimljiva. Ranije jesam probala nekoliko Avon i Oriflame sredstava za negu, sa različitim rezultatima i utiscima, a pre nekog vremena sam od drugara dobila četiri Oriflame proizvoda za negu noktiju i volela bih da utiske o njima sada podelim sa vama.

I seldom write about products sold through catalogues, not because I am against them (although I have some complaints, especially regarding lack of instructions and/or ingredients list), but because I don't have anyone close who is dealing with them and, to be honest, I don't find what they offer that interesting. I have tried some Avon and Oriflame nail care products with different experiences and impressions and some time ago I have received four Oriflame nail care items that I'd like to tell you a bit about.

Oriflame Growth Booster je proizvod koji sam ranije već koristila i koji mi je veoma prijao. Ovo je gel koji se utrljava u nokte, hidrira ih i, koliko sam primetila po svojim noktima, ojačava. Prijatnog je i svežeg mirisa, brzo se upija, a brzo i pokazuje dejstvo. Ako ste u potrazi za dobrim i pristupačnim sredstvom za hidriranje, ovaj gel od mene dobija preporuku. Ne verujem da ijedno sredstvo može ubrzati rast noktiju tako da od ovog to nisam ni očekivala. Moji nokti ionako rastu prilično brzo pa ne verujem da bih uopšte primetila neku razliku. S druge strane, Danijela je imala drugačije iskustvo pa preporučujem da pročitate i njene utiske o ovom proizvodu pre nego što ga kupite.

Oriflame Growth Booster is a product I have used previously and which I liked. This is gel that should be massaged into nail. It hydrates nails and from what I've noticed makes them firmer. It smells pleasantly and fresh, it sinks in fast and it doesn't take long to take effect. If you are looking for a good and affordable hydrating product this one gets thumbs up from me. I don't believe any product can make nails grow faster so I didn't expect such results from this one. My nails already grow quite fast so I don't think I'd even notice any difference. On the other hand, Danijela had a different experience so I suggest you read her review as well before deciding to give this product a go.

Oriflame Nail Food je silno hvaljena mešavina raznih ulja za negu noktiju i zanoktica. Veliki sam ljubitelj upotrebe ulja u nezi noktiju, ali ovo mi se nije pokazalo delotvornim. Bez obzira na prilično dobar sastav bogat antioksidansima i na moju upornu masažu, meni ovo ulje nije prodiralo u kožu i nokte već je samo stvaralo barijeru i zbog toga mi se eponihijum u jednom periodu strašno isušio. Znam da je mnogima ovo ulje odgovaralo, ali meni je izgleda neophodno da ulja za nokte i zanoktice sadrže jojobino ili avokadovo ulje, a ovo ulje ih ne sadrži.

Oriflame Nail Food is a much praised mixture of different oils for nail and cuticle care. I am a fan of oils in nail care, but this one was not effective for me. Regardless of its quite decent ingredients list with many antioxidants and my persistent massage, this oil didn't penetrate my skin or nails, but instead it created a barrier that caused my eponychium to get very dry. I know that many find this oil beneficial, but it seems that I need my oil mixtures to contain jojoba or avocado oil, and this one doesn't have either.

Oriflame Overnight Nail Mask je sredstvo čija mi je funkcija nejasna i ovo je najveće razočaranje iz cele grupe. Urea mu je visoko na listi sastojaka i trebalo bi da ovaj proizvod hidrira nokte, čemu sam se silno radovala. Forma je ono što me zbunjuje i razočarava. Ova maska se na nokte nanosi četkicom i pušta se da se osuši. Time se stvara film koji treba da preko noći ostane na noktima dok ih hidrira. Toliko je postojan da ga je narednog jutra zapravo nemoguće isprati ili na koji drugi način ukloniti s noktiju u potpunosti. Tokom tuširanja, pranja kose, pranja sudova delimično bi se rastvorio, ali ostajali bi tragovi koje ne bih uspevala da uklonim trljanjem mekom četkicom. Ovo nije lak, ali sam pokušala da ga uklonim i acetonom, no bez uspeha. Razumljivo, preko toga nisam mogla da mažem lak niti bilo šta drugo. Posle par upotreba sam odustala od ovog sredstva jer imam utisak da bih pokušajima da ga uklonim sa noktiju poništila sve pozitivno dejstvo koje je možda imalo na njih.

Oriflame Overnight Nail Mask is the product that baffles me and it was the biggest disappointment of this lot. It has urea quite high on the ingredients list so it should hydrate nails, which I was really looking for. The form is what baffles and disappoints me. This nail mask is applied to nails with brush and it should be left to dry. That way a film that should stay put during night and hydrate nails is formed. It is so durable that it can't be washed off or removed some other way the following morning. It would dissolve to an extent during shower, hair wash, doing dishes, but traces would remain and I wouldn't be able to remove them by scrubbing with soft brush. This isn't a polish, but I did try to remove it with acetone to no avail. Understandably, I couldn't apply nail polish or anything else over remains of this thing. I gave up on it after several uses because I figured that attempts to remove it would counteract any positive effects it might have on my nails.

Oriflame Nail Shield je baza za popunjavanje brazdi koja sadrži i neke hranljive supstance (arganovo ulje, suncokretovo ulje, glicerin...) Nisam primetila neko hranljivo dejstvo, ali kao ravnajuća baza je sasvim solidan. Popunjava pliće brazde i daje veoma čist i uredan izgled noktima. Lak fino klizi preko njega. Koliko sam mogla da primetim ova baza produžava postojanost lakova u poređenju sa trajnošću bez baze, a najprijatnije iznenađenje mi je bilo što mi lak koji mi je svojevremeno gadno ofarbao nokte (Rainbow Honey Mare of the Moon) sada nije probio ovu bazu, tako da je preporučujem ako želite da zaštitite nokte od farbanja.

Oriflame Nail Shield is ridge filling base that contains some nourishing ingredients (argan oil, sunflower oil, glycerin...) I haven't noticed that it nourished my nails, but it is quite good as a ridge filler. It fills in lower ridges and gives very clean and natural look. Polish glides smoothly over it and from what I've noticed it also lasts longer with this base that without it. The most pleasant surprise was the fact that a polish that severely stains (Rainbow Honey Mare of the Moon) this time didn't leave a trace on my nails, so I'd recommend this base if you want to protect your nails from staining.
