Dugo, predugo smo čekali da nam novi Zoya lakovi stignu, ali napokon smo ih dočekali. Urban Grunge je kolekcija kojoj sam se najviše radovala jer je u njoj bilo lakova sa holo šimerom, kakve odlično prave. Naravno da mi je zeleni bio na vrhu liste za kupovinu i onaj koji sam morala da kupim u prvom odlasku u nabavku. Sa novim lakovima su stigle i nove cene, ali ovi lakovi vrede svaku paru. Klasične linije su 949 dinara, a Matte i Pixie Dust su 1070.

We've been waiting long, too long, for new Zoya polishes to arrive, but they are finally here. Urban Grunge is a collection I was most looking forward to because it has several polishes with holo shimmer, the ones they are so good at making. Naturally, green one was on the top of my list and the one I had to get in the first visit to the shops. New prices apply now, but these polishes are worth every penny.

Lynnderella Jammy Is My Jam

Prošle godine sam imala sreću da osvojim par Lynnderella lakova - toper iz Talismans and Birthstones kolekcije i ovaj šljokičavac koji nije deo neke kolekcije i samo se povremeno pojavi u ponudi jer je LE. China Glaze Howl You Doin'

China Glaze ove godine za Noć veštica ne izbacuje pravu kolekciju već ponavljaju neke od postojećih boja i spremaju posebne setove, ali uvoz tih setova nije planiran za naše tržište. Zato se danas prisećamo jedne od starijih Halloween kolekcija, Monsters Ball iz 2013. godine. China Glaze Howl You Doin' je do mene neplanirano došao zahvaljujući Jeleni i drago mi je što sam imala priliku da ga probam. Iako je konkretno ovaj lak rasprodat, neke boje su još uvek dostupne u Alexandar Cosmetics-u po ceni od 349 dinara, a po toj ceni ćete moći da ih uzmete i na predstojećem sajmu Dodir Pariza. Od noviteta nas na sajmu očekuju Rebel i Seas and Greetings kolekcije.

There won't be a new collection from China Glaze this Halloween, only re-realeases of some old colours and sets of polishes. That is why we're having a throwback post to one of their older Halloween collections, Monster's Ball from 2013. China Glaze Howl You Doin' came to my possession thanks to Jelena and I am glad that I had a chance to try it.

Look by Bipa Glitter Lilac

Ne znam kako se desilo da od četiri odlična Look by Bipa teksturca koja mi je Suzana zimus poslala, čak tri nisam pokazala. Tu grešku ispravljam odmah sada odmah. Look by Bipa je robna marka Bipa drogerija, kojih znam da ima u Austriji, Hrvatskoj i Nizozemskoj, verovatno i drugde. Ovi peskasti lakovi dolaze u pakovanju od 7 ml, a cena im je oko € 2.

I don't know how it happened that I haven't shown you three out of four great Look by Bipa textured polishes that Suzana sent me for last winter's holidays. I am going to correct that mistake right now. Look by Bipa is Bipa store house brand. I know they have shops in Austria, Croatia and the Netherlands, probably elsewhere as well. These gritty polishes come in 7 ml bottles and retail for about € 2.

Essence I ♥ Trends lakovi

Kroz Essence ponudu lakova svake godine prođu desetine boja. Neke od njih se zadrže nekoliko sezona, druge svega par meseci. Među tim lakovima koji se često menjaju se nalaze lakovi iz I ♥ Trends linije. I same potkolekcije u sklopu ove linije se često menjaju, a pojedinačni lakovi se retko zadrže u prodaji duže od jedne sezone. Lakovi koje danas predstavljam su iz The Darks i The Metals podlinija. The Darks segment je povučen iz prodaje, a The Metals je još uvek aktuelan, u nešto izmenjenom sastavu. Nijedan od ova četiri laka nije više dostupan, mada se koji zaostali primerak Chrome Paradise možda još uvek može naći po sniženoj ceni u ponekom Liliju.

Each year dozens of polishes go through Essence range. Some of them stay for several seasons, while some ore withdrawn after only several months. Among those that are changed often are polishes from I ♥ Trends line. This line's sub-collections are also changed very often and individual polishes rarely stay in it for more than one season. Polishes I am showing today come form The Darks and The Metals sub-sections. The Darks is no longer available and The Metals is still available, albeit in somewhat changed line-up.

ILNP Mountain View

Moja kolekcija indie lakova je skromna, delom zbog njihove slabije dostupnosti, delom zbog cene, delom zato što ima toliko brendova da je teško odlučiti se. No za mene se jedan brend izdvojio kako svojom paletom boja, tako i svojom ambalažom, koja ne deluje kao da je indie već kao da je high end (zapravo se više i ne vode kao indie već kao boutique brend). To je brend koji imenom sumira stav svake lakoholičarke prema lakovima - ILNP (I Love Nail Polish). ILNP lakovi imaju 12 ml i na NailLand sajtu koštaju 10,6-12,3 € u zavisnosti od finiša i kolekcije. I have only a modest selection of indie polishes, partly because they are not as easily accessible, partly because of their price, partly because there are so many brands that it is difficult to make a choice. However, there is a brand that in my book set itself apart from others in terms of colour scheme and its packaging, which doesn't look like indie, but like high end packaging (in fact they aren't an indie brand any more, but a boutique brand). Color Club The Uptown (reformulated)

Color Club je 2013. godine napravio nekoliko zaista dobrih lakova, a među njima se, u kolekciji Girl About Town, našao The Uptown. Marry ga je blagovremeno nabavila, a ja sam se nećkala jer mu je veoma sličan Layla The Butterfly Effect. Naravno, kada sam odlučila da ga ipak želim, Color Club je uradio ono što mrzim kada proizvođači urade - potpuno je promenio lak, ali mu je ostavio ime. Ne znam kojoj svrsi to služi sem da razočara korisnike.

In 2013. Color Club placed several really great nail polishes and among them, in Girl About Town collection, was The Uptown. Marry had bought it in time, and I initially wanted to gave it a miss because it was similar to Layla The Butterfly Effect. Naturally, when I decided that I do want it, Color Club did that which I hate when manufacturers do - they changed the polish entirely and left the name. I have no idea to what end unless the goal is to annoy consumers.

China Glaze Riveting

Lak koji predstavljam danas je jedan od onih oko kojih sam se dugo premišljala jer mi se boja mnogo svidela, ali sam bila sigurna da će mi stajati loše. To moje vaganje je trajalo skoro tri godine, s tim što sam se zadržala na "ne" kada su cene China Glaze lakova povećane, no kada su određene boje stavljene na sniženje znala sam da ga ipak moram uzeti. China Glaze lakovi imaju 14 ml, ne sadrže "veliku trojku" loših sastojaka i koštaju 489 dinara. Ovaj, uz još dosta drugih boja, do kraja godine možete nabaviti po ceni od 349 dinara u Alexandar Cosmetics prodavnicama i na sajtu, ali nažalost ne i kod distributera po drugim gradovima.

Dance Legend Comet Tail

Kada sam birala rođendanske lakove na Hypnotic Polish uspela sam da ulovim tri Dance Legend Galaxy laka koja sam želela i jedan iz ograničene serije, no nikako da dođu na red za nošenje i isprobavanje. Nedavno me je Maria podsetila da ih još uvek nisam nosila pa sada polako ispravljam taj propust. Na Hypnotic Polish Dance Legend Galaxy lakovi od 6,5 ml koštaju 8,7 €.

When I was choosing my birthfay polishes on Hypnotic Polish I managed to snag three Dance Legend Galaxy polishes, along with one limited edition, but it never seemed a good time to wear them. I was recently reminded by Maria that I should address this issue and now I'm starting to do it. Dance Legend Galaxy polishes retail for € 8.5 for 6.5 ml bottle at Hypnotic Polish.

CND Vinylux Wild Moss

Posle ne baš sjajnog prvog iskustva sa Vinylux lakovima odugovlačila sam sa isprobavanjem druge boju koju sam kupila, dvoumila se da li da prvo probam nju ili da ponovo nosim Pretty Poison, ali sam ipak odlučila da probam novu boju. Ovaj sistem, kao i druge CND proizvode, možete nabaviti u Unitech-u ili preko njihovog sajta. Cena lakova je 988 dinara, a nadlaka 679 dinara. I lakovi i nadlak sadrže 15 ml proizvoda i 3-free su.

After not so great first go at Vinylux polishes I have been postponing wearing the second shade I have bought, debating whether to try that one or to give Pretty Poison another go, but in the end I have decided to try a new colour. OPI I Have a Herring Problem

Izgleda kao da sam tek otkrila sive lakove, ali zapravo sam samo bila veoma skeptična prema tome kako će mi koja nijansa stajati. Sada mislim da sam shvatila kakvi mi sivci stoje pa sam se malo oslobodila. Jedan od prvih koji mi je privukao pažnju otkad sam se vratila u lakoholočarske vode je OPI I Have a Herring Problem, oko kojeg sam stalno obigravala, ali sam ga zaobilazila jer sa već imala Zoya Skylar. Na svu sreću ova dva laka su dovoljno različita, a ovaj se uz to našao u korpici sa lakovima za 500 dinara na sajmu da sam dozvolila sebi da ga ipak uzmem.

It looks as if I've only recently discovered grey polishes, but in fact I was wary of them as I couldn't discern how they'd suit me. Now I think that I've finally realized which shades to look for so I feel more at ease with them. One of first grey polishes that had caught my eye since I got back to polishes is OPI I Have a Herring Problem, I have been eying, but avoided because I've already had Zoya Skylar. Fortunately they are different enough and this one was also discounted so I allowed myself this purchase.

Kako je ovih dana vreme prilično vedro iskoristila sam priliku da malo nosim lakove koji najlepše izgledaju kada nije sasvim oblačno. Jedan od njih je i Dance Legend Solar Eclipse, iz kolekcije Galaxy. Ja sam svoj naručila sa Llarowe i to sam uspela da nađem veliku bočicu (15 ml) po sniženoj ceni. Redovna cena mu je 13 $, a kada sam ja naručivala bio je 11 $. Mala bočica (6,5 ml) košta 8 $, a na Hypnotic Polish je 8,5 €.

Since we've been having clear(er) skies these past few days I decided to take out my polishes that look their best when skies aren't gloomy. One such polish is Dance Legend Solar Eclipse, from Galaxy collection. I have ordered mine from Llarowe and I was fortunate to get a full size bottle (15 ml) at lower price. Its regular retail price is $13, and I got it for $11. Mini bottle (6 ml) is $8 at Llarowe and €8.5 at Hypnotic Polish.

Essence Best Rock i Best Hip Hop

Retko mi se u poslednje vreme dešava da odmah budem nezadovoljna kupovinom, ali nažalost ovog puta je to slučaj. Nedavno sam kupila dva laka iz Essence Rock Out trend edicije (aktuelna u Liliju) i čim sam ih namazala na rozetnu videla sam da će biti problema. Rock Out kolekciju pored drugih proizvoda čine četiri laka i toper koji svetli u mraku. Lakovi imaju 8 ml i koštaju 289 dinara. Lakovi koje sam odabrala su Best Rock i Best Hip Hop.

It doesn't happen that often to me to be dissatisfied with the purchase right away, but I'm sorry to say that this time that was the case. I have recently bought two polishes from Essence Rock Out trend edition and as soon as I had swatched them on my swatchwheel I could see that there was going to be trouble. Rock Out trend edition contains, among other things, four 8 ml nail polishes and glow in the dark topper. My chosen polishes were Best Rock and Best Hip Hop.

piCture pOlish Solar Flare

Koristim ovo sunce koje se povremeno promalja da nosim (i slikam) lakove koji zahtevaju snažno osvetljenje da bi se pokazali u punom sjaju. Jedan od njih je Solar Flare - jedini piCture pOlish lak iz LE kolekcije koji sam uzela i sada kada je kolekcija maltene svuda rasprodata ne mogu prežaliti što ne uzeh i Illusionist. Solar Flare se još uvek može nabaviti kod nekih distributera piCture pOlish lakova. Izgleda da nije bio među popularnijima.

I want to use the sunlight we've been having these days in between spells of murky weather to wear and photograph polishes that require strong light in order to show their true colours. One of them is Solar Flare - the only LE piCture pOlish nail polish I got. Now that the collection has been sold out almost everywhere I want to eat my heart out for not getting Illusionist as well. Solar Flare can still be found at some e-tailers'. It seems to be less popular.

Dance Legend Different View

Dance Legend 850 Different View je drugi od tri Holodays laka koja sam dobila na Hypnotic Polish darivanju. Holodays je linija od šest holo lakova sa dodatnim rasutim holo česticama. Lakovi iz ove linije imaju (svega) 6,5 ml, za razliku od standardnih Dance Legend lakova koji imaju 15 ml. Spremite se na mnogo slika jer ova lepota ih zaslužuje, a vreme mi je išlo na ruku za slikanje ovakvog laka.

Dance Legend 850 Different View is the second of three Holodays nail polishes I won at Hypnotic Polish giveaway. Holodays is line of six holo polishes with additional scattered holo particles. These polishes come in mini 6.5 ml bottles, unlike standard Dance Legend polishes that come in 15 ml bottles. Get ready for photos galore because this gorgeousness deserves it, and the weather was perfect for photographing such polish.
