Polish Molish The Show Must Go On

Wild Avocado mi je stajao čak 10 dana na noktima i bilo mi je žao da ga stignem, ali izrastak je bio takav da nisam imala izbora. Ovo sivilo je savršeno za fotografisanje multihromatskih lakova, tako da sam izvukla moj prvi i (za sada) jedini Polish Molish lak. Poručila sam ga sa Lakodoma. Trenutno ga nema na stanju, ali će ga sigurno biti kada budu oglasili narednu pretprodaju.

I had Wild Avocado on for 10 days and I was sorry to take it off, but the growth was such that I had no choice. And this grey weather is perfect for taking photos of duo and multichromatic polishes so I got my first and (so far) only Polish Molish nail polish. I ordered it from Lakodoma. They don't have it in stock right now, but I am sure they will get it when they announce the next preorder.

ILNP Eclipse (H)

Pošto sam bila toliko impresionirana crno-crvenim multihrom lakovima, odmah sam uzela dva takva ILNP laka - običan Eclipse i Eclipse (H). Ne mogu garantovati da neću uzeti još koji na ovaj fazon. ILNP shop dostavlja za Srbiju, ali poštarina je visoka (meni je za 4 laka ispala skoro $30). Za slučaj da vas zanima, paket sa 4 laka je mali i prošao je bez otvaranja i dodatnih troškova. Lakovi imaju 12 ml.

Since I was so impressed with black to red multichrome polishes, I had to get two such ILNP polishes - a regular Eclipse and Eclipse (H). I can't promise I won't get several more. I ordered from ILNP web shop. They do ship to Serbia, but shipping is rather high (it was almonst $30 for 4 polishes). Polishes come in 12 ml bottles.

Dugo se nije desilo da mi se neki lak toliko dopao da sam morala da ga kupim, a potom kada sam ga probala da me je dodatno oduševio. Nije nikakva novina da mi se ILNP lakovi sviđaju, ali nisam bila u prilici da ih kupujem jer online prodavnica iz kojih sam naručivala ili više ne dostavljaju za Srbiju ili nemaju u ponudi one lakove koje sam želela da uzmem. Onda sam poručila direktno od njih. ILNP shop dostavlja za Srbiju, ali poštarina je visoka (meni je za 4 laka ispala skoro $30). Ipak, meni je vredelo jer sam silno želela da uzme Eclipse. I Eclipse (H). Za slučaj da vas zanima, paket sa 4 laka je mali i prošao je bez otvaranja i dodatnih troškova.

It has been quite some time that I liked a polish enough that I had to buy it, and then to delight me even more in person. It is no news that I like ILNP polishes, but I had no opportunity to buy new ones because etailers I used to order from either no longer ship to Serbia or don't have the colours I wanted in stock. So I gave their offical web shop a go. They do ship to Serbia, but shipping is rather high (it was almonst $30 for 4 polishes). Despite that, It was worth it to me because I really wanted to get my hands on Eclipse. And Eclipse (H).

Chanel Mimosa

Postoje brendovi koji kod mene izazivaju averziju i na vrhu te liste je Chanel. Ne samo lakovi - odeća, asesoari, šminka, štagod. Dovoljno mi je da vidim ili čujem ime i da ne želim ništa da znam o proizvodu. Iracionalno je, ne tražite objašnjenje. No pre tri godine sam od drage mi Jelene dobila Mimozu na poklon, jer Jelena zna da volim žute lakove. Zašto je tri godine stajao neisproban? Pa, ta averzija nije nestala sa posedovanjem. No prošlog petka smo za tematski manikir mazale nasumično odabrane lakove iz kolekcije, a ja sam imala poseban uslov da taj lak bude do sada neisproban. Otud Chanel na mojim noktima i blogu.

There are brands that I have a very strong aversion to, and on the top of that list is Chanel. Not just polishes - clothes, accessories, makeup, whatever. As soson as I hear the brand name, I don't want to know anything about the product. It is irrational, don't look for an explanation. However, three years ago, my dear Jelena gave me Mimosa as a gift, because she knows I like yellow polishes. Well, the aversion didn't go with owning of a product. But last friday we had a theme of a randomly chosen polish from our collection, and I had an additional condition of choosing from my untrieds. That is how a Chanel polish ended up on my nails and on my blog.

Color Club Oh Deer!

Još jedan neočekivani lak koji mi je Suzi skinula sa liste želja je Color Club Oh Deer! iz Cabin Fever kolekcije za jesen 2015. godine. Iako pod normalnim okolnostima nisam lubitelj karamel/oker nijansi, ovaj je lak bio tako upečatljiv da sam morala da ga imam, a uz to mi se odlično slaže sa omiljenom torbom.😁 Nažalost, Color Club nije više dostupan kod nas i može se nabaviti samo preko interneta.

Another unexpected polish that Suzy had taken off my wish list is Color Club Oh Deer! from Cabin Fever collection for autumn 2015. Even Though I am usually not a fan of caramel/ochre shades, this polish is so striking that I had to have it. And it goes so well with my favourite bag.😁 Sadly, Colour Club is no longer available in Serbia, but it can be found online.

China Glaze Girls Just Wanna Have Sun

Zimus se draga Suzana potrudila da mi skine nekoliko lakova sa liste želja (hvala Suzi 💋), a verujem da je iznenađenje što se na toj listi našao i ovaj lak jer nije moja tipična boja. My dear friend Suzana put a lot of effort into getting me some polishes off my wish list last winter (thank you Suzy 💋) and I trust it was odd that this polish was on that list in the first place as it is not my typical colour. China Glaze Girls Just Wanna Have Sun was part of House of Colour collection for spring 2016. and should still be available for purchase even though there is a new spring collection called Spring Fling, as well as Shades of Nude collection.

Matching Manicures - Polka Dots

Stigle su na red i tačkice, za koje sam mislila da su tema za prošlu nedelju, tako da je ovo zapravo manikir od prošle nedelje. Ionako ove nedelje ne bih stigla da pravim nov manikir jer sam od petka na Beokonu, a i vas pozivam da svratite jer i danas ima zanimljivih tribina i predavanja, a tu je i cosplay.

Finally we're doing dots, which I thought were the theme for last week, so this is actually a week-old mani. I wouldn't be able to make a new one anyway, because I've been on Beokon since Friday.

Wycon Sugar Effect 832

Prošle nedelje sam provela par dana u Rimu i krajnje neočekivano sam uspela da uđem u nekoliko parfimerija i uzmem koji lak, uključujući ovaj. Wycon (nekada Wjcon) je italijanski brend za koji nikada ranije nisam čula, ali dosta me podsećaju na Kiko. Pošto su u ponudi imali nekoliko veoma zanimljivih teksturnih lakova, odlučila sam da im dam šansu. Pakovanja lakova su od 10 ml, a cena je oko 4€. Koliko sam mogla da vidim, nema ih van Italije.

Last week I spent a couple of days in Rome and I even managed to visit a make-up store or two and get several polishes, including this one. Wycon (formerly Wjcon) is an Italian brand I haven't heard of before, but they remind me of Kiko quite a lot. They have some very interesting textured polishes, so I decided to give them a chance. Polishes come in 10 ml bottles and retail for about €4. They don't seem to be available outside of Italy.

OPI Washington DC Mini Set

Aktuelna OPI kolekcija je Washington DC jesenja kolekcija napravljena u saradnji sa Kerry Washington. Kolekcija sadrži dvanaest standardnih lakova i tri limitirane boje. Iako finiši nisu baš za padanje u nesvest (skoro sve su kreme), izbor boja je zanimljiviji nego obično, što je lepo, a nekoliko boja je baš u mom fazonu, što je još bolje. Osim same kolekcije, u ponudi se nalazi i ovaj set od četiri mini laka. Cela kolekcija će moći da se uzme na sajmu, po sajamskoj ceni.

Current OPI collection is autumnal Washington DC collection, made in cooperation with Kerry Washington. It contains twelve regulat and three limited shades. Even though finishes are nothing to die for, choice of colour is more interesting than usual, which is nice, and several shades are right up my alley, which is even better. Along with regular polishes, they have made this set of four mini polishes.

The last Harunouta / Spring Song image plate I have to show is the one I believe is among the more popular ones. At a glance feminine and delicate, it can be used for gentle bridal manis as well as for edgy rocker nails.

Sve znate za Born Pretty Store, ali znate li da postoji i nemačka verzija BPS-a, pod imenom Nur Besten? Oni nude iste proizvode kao BPS i imaju besplatnu poštarinu za ceo svet, ali im se cene i popusti razlikuju. Ne znam da li im se vreme isporuke razlikuje od BPS, ali se nadam da je kraće.

You all know about Born Pretty Store, but did you know that there is German version of the website called Nur Besten? They have the same range of products as BPS and free worldwide shipping, but prices and discounts differ. I don't know, but I hope that their delivery times are shorter than from BPS.

Matching Manicures - Inspired by Artwork

Svaki put kada radimo tematski manikir težimo tome da napravimo malo umetničko delo. Danas nam umetnička dela pružaju inspiraciju. Pošto bi mi bilo teško do nemoguće da izvedem nešto u stilu omiljenih mi starih majstora, okrenula sam se jedom od podjednako dragih, ali nešto savremenijih slikara - Vasiliju Kandinskom.

Every time we do a matching manicure we strive to create a piece of true artwork, but today it is existing artwork that we turn to for inspiration. Since it would be hard to impossible for me to do something in line of my favourite old masters, I have turned to one of my equally favourite, but a bit more modern painters - Wassily Kandinsky.

Vinylux su prvi hibridni lakovi u svetu, a i kod nas, i njihov sistem se sastoji iz stotinak boja lakova i brzosušećeg nadlaka. You could see in the monthly overview that I have gotten five new Vinylux polishes, and two of those are yellow. Vinylux is the original hybrid nail polish and the system consists of over a hundred colours and top coat.

Matching Manicures - Inspired by Fashion

Kako sam osoba koja ne prati modu, trendove i sl. ova tema mi je posebno teško pala. No, s druge strane, tema je takva da nismo ograničeni samo na savremene modne tendencije već se možemo inspirisati i modom prohujalih doba ili drugih naroda, civilizacija. Stoga sam se odlučila da inspiraciju potražim u dalekom Japanu, a tome je sasvim sigurno doprinela činjenica da je prošle nedelje održan Japanizam i da se preko puta mog štanda nalazio štand Tsubaki kimono.

Being someone who is not into fashion, trends and such, I found this theme to be a chore, which is why I am only publishing this article at the last moment. However, on the other hand, the theme is such that we are not limited to current fashion trends, but we can take our inspiration from fashion of times gone by, of different peoples or civilisations. That is why I looked for my inspiration far away, in Japan, and the fact that Japanizam had just ended and that Tsubaki kimono booth was right across mine had figured greatly in this decision.

I have less and less time for nail stamping, but want to stamp more often than usual. I have finally managed to do several stamping manis between my daily duties - enough to showcase this nice image plate. Matching Manicures - Proleće

Kalendarski danas na našoj hemisferi počinje proleće i to nam je povod i tema za ovonedeljni usklađeni manikir. Sa lepšim vremenom meni dolazi i bolje raspoloženje pa sam bila spremna za nešto malo komplikovanije od onoga što inače radim za tematske manikire. Nadam se da će vam se svideti.
