Matching Manicures - Teal

Nova nedelja, nova tema. Ovog puta nosimo petrolej lakove. Ugrabila sam koji minut da iskombinujem dva i uradim ovaj jednostavan i brz, a nadam se zanimljiv manikir.

New Sunday, new theme. This time we are wearing teal polishes. I took this opportunity to combine two of them in this fast and easy, and hopefully interesting mani.

Born Pretty BP-11

Ova mi je pločica stajala mesecima, ako ne i punu godinu, čekajući na predstavljanje. Koncentrični geometrijski motivi su mi bili komplikovani za precizno pozicioniranje i tek mi je prozirni pečat omogućio da pločicu dostojno upotrebim.

I've had this image plate for months if not for over a year and it has been waiting for a post about it ever since. I found concentric geometric shapes difficult to place precisely where I wanted and only clear stamper enabled me to use this stamping plate properly.

Look by Bipa Glitter Turquoise

Mada vidim da trend teksturisanih lakova kod nas polako jenjava, mene i dalje snažno drži sklonost ka ovakvim lakovima. Znajući to, Mala Palčica me je za praznike iznenadila izborom od četiri Look by Bipa teksturca. Okej, nije me baš toliko iznenadila jer smo se proletos dogovarale oko toga koje da mi pošalje, ali jedan je zaista bio potpun neočekivan - upravo ovaj koji vam danas predstavljam. Look by Bipa je robna marka Bipa drogerija, kojih znam da ima u Austriji, Hrvatskoj i Nizozemskoj, verovatno i drugde. Ovi peskasti lakovi dolaze u pakovanju od 7 ml, a cena im je oko € 2.

Even though I can see that textured polish trend is steadily waning, I still like them a lot. Being aware of it, Mala Palčica surprised me for holidays with a choice of four Look by Bipa textured polishes. Okay, it wasn't that much of a surprise as we have previously discussed which shades I would like, but one of them was entirely unexpected - the one I am showing you today. Look by Bipa is Bipa store brand. I know they have shops in Austria, Croatia and the Netherlands, probably elsewhere as well. These gritty polishes come in 7 ml bottles and retail for about € 2.

Ne tako davno Born Pretty Store je ponudio svoju kolekciju multihromatskih topera, a ja danas imam zadovoljstvo da vam predstavim jedan od njih. Born Pretty Chameleon lakovi se nalaze u istom pakovanju kao i njihovi holo lakovi, bočici od 6 ml. Puna cena im je 12,88 dolara po laku, ali se veoma često nalaze na sniženjima te se ovaj sada može naći upola cene.

Morgan Taylor Party at the Palace

Nisam osoba kojoj letnje i prolećne kolekcije bilo čega odgovaraju pa mi je samo jedan jedini lak iz Morgan Taylor Cinderella kolekcije privukao pažnju. Poput drugih Morgan Taylor lakova ni ovaj ne sadrži formalin, dibutilftalat i toluen i nije testiran na životinjama. Bočice su od 15 ml i koštaju 984 dinara. Možete ih nabaviti kod uvoznika GP Contour u Novom Sadu i Beogradu i u Janković apotekama u Novom Sadu.

I am not a sort of person that spring and summer collections of anything appeal t, which is why only one polish from Morgan Taylor Cinderella collection had caught my eye. Morgan Taylor polishes are big 3-free and cruelty free. They come in 15 ml bottles and have wide flat brush.

Matching Manicures - Spun Sugar

Postoji nekoliko boja koje ne nosim. Tirkizna i zlatna su među njima, ali kombinacija ove dve boje mi se veoma dopada. Zato ih koristim u ovonedeljnom usklađenom manikiru, koji za temu ima tehniku šećernih niti. Nije mi prvi put da radim ovakav manikir, ali ovog puta sam užvala mnogo više u smišljanju i izradi samog manikira.

There are several colours I don't wear. Turquoise and gold are among them, but I like the combination of the two very much. That is why I chose this combo for this weeks Matching Manicure, which has spun sugar mani for theme. This isn't my first go at this technique, but I enjoyed both thinking up and doing this mani much more than the previous one.

Dance Legend Solar Eclipse

Kako je ovih dana vreme prilično vedro iskoristila sam priliku da malo nosim lakove koji najlepše izgledaju kada nije sasvim oblačno. Jedan od njih je i Dance Legend Solar Eclipse, iz kolekcije Galaxy. Ja sam svoj naručila sa Llarowe i to sam uspela da nađem veliku bočicu (15 ml) po sniženoj ceni. Redovna cena mu je 13 $, a kada sam ja naručivala bio je 11 $. Mala bočica (6,5 ml) košta 8 $, a na Hypnotic Polish je 8,5 €.

Since we've been having clear(er) skies these past few days I decided to take out my polishes that look their best when skies aren't gloomy. One such polish is Dance Legend Solar Eclipse, from Galaxy collection. I have ordered mine from Llarowe and I was fortunate to get a full size bottle (15 ml) at lower price. Its regular retail price is $13, and I got it for $11. Mini bottle (6 ml) is $8 at Llarowe and €8.5 at Hypnotic Polish.

Malena 7

Pre nekoliko meseci u Lilly drogerijama su se pojavili lakovi makedonske firme Malena. Nisu me preterano privlačili onako pobacani u bazene, gde se boje jedva vide i gde treba kopati da bi se možda našlo nešto zanimljivo. No imala sam sreću da među sedamdesetak boja odmah ugledam (svega) jedan zanimljiv lak. Malena lakovi imaju 12 ml (jedva nađoh na etiketi gde piše zapremina), običnu četkicu i, ako je verovati sastavu na bočici, ne sadrže nijedan od velikih pet loših sastojaka (formalin, toluen DBP, kamfor i tosilamid). Koštaju samo 129 dinara.

Several months ago we got an addition to Lilly drugstores - nail polishes from Macedonian company Malena. I wasn't attracted to them because they are "displayed" quite unattractively, thrown in large basins, where you can barely see the colours and you have to dig in in order to find something nice. I was fortunate, though, to have a single interesting polish catch my eye immediately. Malena polishes come in 12 ml bottles, quite ordinary brush and, if label is to be trusted, don't contain big 5 bad ingredients (formalin, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin). They retail for about 1 €.

Flormar 429 Cyan

Flormar 429 je prelepa jarka tirkizna krema visokog sjaja. Prvi put sam ovaj lak kupila za drugaricu i to joj je postao omiljeni lak, a kako ja nisam imala ništa slično uzela sam i sebi jedan jer sam uspela da ga nađem po staroj ceni u parfimeriji Kristabell. Maže se divno, bez najmanjih problema. Gustina mu je kakva se samo poželeti može - nije ni gust ni redak. Toliko je pigmentisan da može da bude jednoslojac, a i sjaj mu je veoma visok. Suši se prosečnom brzinom. Iako dobro ide uz moju boju kože, tirkizna ipak nije jedna od mojih boja te je ovaj lak našao novi dom.

Flormar 429 is a gorgeous bright turquoise creme polish. I have first bought this polish for a friend and it soon became her favourite nail polish. Since I didn't have anything like it in my stash I had to get one for myself. It goes on like a dream, flawlessly. The formula is perfect - not too thick, not too thin. It is so pigmented that it could be a one-coater, and it has quite high gloss. Drying time is average. Even though it goes well with my skin tone, turquoise isn't one of my colours so this polish now has a new home.

Don Juan One Coat OC257

OC257 je drugi lak iz najnovije kolekcije One Coat lakova koji vam predstavljam. U pitanju je zagasita tirkizno-plava krema. Dobro ide uz moj ten i od novih osam lakova moj je favorit. Maže se prilično lepo. Jedan deblji sloj daje punu pokrivenost, ali četkica može povući boju ako pređete preko istog mesta više puta. Zato bih ipak savetovala mazanje dva tanja sloja. Brzo se suši (imam utisak da se sušio brže od OC254). Sjaj mu je visok.

OC257 is the second polish from the latest One Coat collection I'm showing you. This is a muted turquoise blue creme. It goes well with my complexion and is my favourite of the collection. It goes on quite well. One thicker coat gives full coverage, but brush might take some of the colour off if you go over same spot twice. That's why I'd recommend two thinner coats. It dries fast (I have a feeling it dried faster than OC254). The gloss is very high.
