Osim crvenih, roze i nude lakova, koji verovatno čine 90% boja u Essie postavci, Essie veoma često pravi i zasivljene plave i zelene lakove, koji se, kada se smene kolekcije, obično mesecima povlače po policama i činijama sa robom na rasprodaji. Ponekada čak po zaista neverovatnim cenama, na koje ja retko naletim, ali imam dobre drugarice lakoholičarke koje uredno javljaju kada nalete na neku takvu ponudu. Tako je i ovaj lak došao do mene, za "ogromnih" 209 dinara.

Essie is know by red, pink and nude polishes, which probably make 90% of their entire production, but they also make greyed-out green and blue polishes quite often. Those polishes end up in discount bins and usually remain there for months, ending up with a ridiculously low price tag. Now, I seldom run into Essies at that low a price, but fortunately I have very good polishaholic friends who tend to tip me off about them, which is how I came to own this one for less than €2.

Davno je do mene stigao par Butter London lakova od fantastične Marije, kojoj je bilo jasno da lakove prašnjavog tona može bezbedno da prosledi meni (na čemu sam joj veoma zahvalna). Butter London lakovi imaju elegantnu četvrtastu bočicu u koju staje 11 ml laka. Nemam predstavu gde se u Evropi mogu nabaviti, samo znam da ih u Austriji više nema.

It's been awhile since a couple of Butter London were sent to me by fantastic Maria, who realized that she can pass dusty polishes on to me (and I am very thankful to her for it). Butter London polishes come in elegant rectangular bottles that hold 11 ml of product. I have no idea where in Europe you can find Butter London polishes, I only know that they are no longer available in Austria.

Butter London Sprog

Spomenula sam u mesečnom pregledu da sam od Marije dobila neke lakove, a Butter London Sprog je jedan od njih. On mi je imenom prvi privukao pažnju. Sprog u britanskom žargonu znači "derle, derište" a izraz sam prvi put čula u The Fast Show u sklopu božićnog specijala Holy Sprog (možete pogledati klip na kraju članka). Butter London lakovi su američke proizvodnje, 3-free i nisu testirani na životinjama. Videla sam da ih ima u Nemačkoj u Douglas parfimerijama i tamo koštaju oko 18 €. Ova nijansa je dostupna samo u Ulta radnjama.

I have mentioned in my monthly overview that Maria had sent me some polishes. Butter London Sprog is one of those polishes and the first one to catch my eye with its name. In British slang "sprog" is a term for a child and I have first heard it in The Fast Show Christmas special Holy Sprog (you can see the video at the end of this article). Butter London is an American brand, polishes are 3-free and they aren't tested on animals. In Germany in Douglas drugstores they retail for about 18 €. This shade is exclusive to Ulta.

Nedavno je na novootvorenoj grupi za noktoljube postavljeno pitanje da li volimo nail art. Ja nisam ljubitelj bilo koje vrste nail arta koja zahteva crtanje jer ne umem da nacrtam krug ni oko novčića. No današnji usklađeni manikir podrazumeva i to da moram uzeti tanku četkicu u ruke i crtati. I ovih nekoliko linija je za mene previše :D

A question do wi like nail art was recently asked in new polishalolics group. I am not a fan of any form of nail art that requires drawing or painting because I can't draw a circle around a penny. Today's matching manicure, however, meant that I'd have to pick up a brush and draw. Even these several lines are too overwhelming for me :D
