A England Tristam Revisited

Plavi lakovi su nam trenutna tema za usklađene manikire na Ani. Plavo nije moja boja, ali volim teget i odmah sam suzila izbor na dva laka - omiljeni mi China Glaze Strap on your Moonboots ili A England Tristam, koji nisam prošlog puta mogla lepo da uhvatim jer nije bilo sunca. Zato danas dobija čestite slike.

Our current theme for manicures is blue polishes. Blue is not my colour, but I do like navy blues and I immediately got my selection down to two polishes - a favourite of mine China Glaze Strap on your Moonboots or A England Tristam, which I couldn't capture well because there was no sun. That is why today it is finally getting some decent photos.

Minty Dotticure

Uporedo sa povratkom blogu, vratila sam se i Instagramu, mada iz sasvim drugih razloga. Ranije sam imala dosta slobodnog vremena i to sam vreme rado provodila na Instagramu. Onda sam imala sve manje vremena i prolazili bi dani, nedelje pre nego što bih pokrenula aplikaciju. Sticajem okolnosti, poslednjih nekoliko meseci zbog posla često idem na Instagram te tako osim poslovnih stvari vidim i ponešto od onoga što meni dragi ljudi kače. Takođe je sada skoro godinu dana otkako radim od kuće te pauze ne mogu da provodim u razgovoru sa kolegama, ali zato mogu da gledam razne lepe slike. Tako sam naišla na nagradni izazov koji je pokrenuo sajt Whats Up Nails. Trenutna tema za izazov su tačkice.

As I returned to my blog, I returned to Instagram as well, although due to a different cause. I used to have a lot of free time, which I loved to spend on Insta. Then I had less and less time and days and weeks would go by without me even starting the app. However, it happened that I actually need to use Instagram for work quite often, which means that alongside business-related stuff, I also catch a glimpse of what people I follow shared. And it is now almost a year since I've been working from home, whiche means that I am no longer spending my breaks talking to my coworkers, but I can spend them now looking at pretty pictures. That is how I found a nail art challenge by Whats Up Nails, and the current theme is dotticure.

Wycon Sugar Effect 808 Blu Glitter

Ne znam zašto nisam ranije objavila ovaj članak, imajući u vidu da sam slike snimila još 2017. godine i da je Wycon u međuvremenu stigao u Srbiju. No to sada nije važno. Važno je da su nažalost za proizvođače teksturci bili samo prolazni trend za sezonu-dve, a meni su među omiljenim lakovima i za njima posežem kada ne znam šta bih namazala.

I don't know why I haven't published this post earlier considering that I have taken these photos in 2017. and that Wycon has since come to Serbia. However, that doesn't matter. What matters is that, sadly, textured polishes were just a fad for manufacturers, and they turned out to be among my favourite polishes and that they are my go-tos whenever I don't know what to wear on my nails.

Catrice Noir Vert & Noir Bleu

Taman kada nam je u DM prošle godine stigao Catrice, u ponudu su uveli liniju Noir Noir lakova - 6 veoma tamnih, zacrnjenih lakova čije boje se kreću od crvene i ljubičaste preko sive do plave i zelene. Meni su ovi stigli od Suzi i da ih nisam dobila od nje, sasvim sigurno ne bih sama uzela nijedan jer me sa police nisu mamili. Sada se ovi lakovi povlače iz proizvodnje pa je moguće naći ih po sniženoj ceni u činijama kod kase u DMu.

Just as Catrice hit our DM stores last year, they had added Noir Noir line of polishes to their range. Noir Noir line consists of 6 very dark, blackened polishes that range from red and purple to grey to blue and green. I have gotten these two from Suzi and if it weren't for her, I would not have tried them at all, because they didn't call to me from the shelf. Now this line has been discontinued so you can probably get them for just a fraction of price in DM stores and other retailers that might carry them.

Zoya Olivera

Kada su zimus posle dugog, predugog čekanja konačno stigle nove kolekcije Zoya lakova u Ultra Sun, imala sam spisak lakova koje sam uzela u razmatranje za kupovinu. Olivera nije bila među njima, ali je jedan pogled uživo na nju bio dovoljan da budem sasvim očarana te sam je bez razmišljanja ponela kući. When, after too long a wait, new Zoya collections finally arrived in Ultra Sun, I went there with a list of polishes I considered buying. Olivera was not on that list, but a single glance at it in person was quite enough to charm me, so I had to take her home with me.

Matching Manicures - Inspired by Pinterest

Još jedan manikir čija se tema ponavlja je na redu ove nedelje. Inspiraciju tražimo na Pinterestu, a plašim se da sam ja malo preterala i skoro u potpunosti iskopirala manikir koji mi je privukao pažnju.

Matching Manicures - Inspired by Flag

Današnju inspiraciju nam pružaju zastave. Pošto sam od onih koji ne razumeju zašto bi iko želeo da nosi zastavu neke zemlje osim svoje, a ni za svoju nešto ne marim, odlučila sam se za fiktivnu zastavu. Zapravo, prvo su mi na pamet padale zastave nekih veoma stvarnih organizacija ili pokreta koje podržavam, ali sam na kraju ipak prelomila i uradila zastavu Galaktičke imperije iz sveta Ratova zvezda.

Today we are looking for inspiration among flags. Since I am one of those people who don't understand why anyone would wear any country's flag except their own, and I don't care that much for my own country's flag, I opted for a fictitious flag. Actually, I initially had some very real organisations' and causes' that I support flags in mind, but instead I chose to do Galactic Empire flag, from Star Wars universe.

Matching Manicures - Inspired by Fashion

Kako sam osoba koja ne prati modu, trendove i sl. ova tema mi je posebno teško pala. No, s druge strane, tema je takva da nismo ograničeni samo na savremene modne tendencije već se možemo inspirisati i modom prohujalih doba ili drugih naroda, civilizacija. Stoga sam se odlučila da inspiraciju potražim u dalekom Japanu, a tome je sasvim sigurno doprinela činjenica da je prošle nedelje održan Japanizam i da se preko puta mog štanda nalazio štand Tsubaki kimono.

Being someone who is not into fashion, trends and such, I found this theme to be a chore, which is why I am only publishing this article at the last moment. However, on the other hand, the theme is such that we are not limited to current fashion trends, but we can take our inspiration from fashion of times gone by, of different peoples or civilisations. That is why I looked for my inspiration far away, in Japan, and the fact that Japanizam had just ended and that Tsubaki kimono booth was right across mine had figured greatly in this decision.

OPI Russian Navy Suede

Tema današnjeg članka je lak koji mi najduže stoji neisproban. Sa skoro tri godine u mojoj kolekciji, bez nošenja i bez predstavljanja, OPI Russian Navy Suede slobodno mogu nazvati najzapostavljenijim lakom. Suede kolekcija već neko vreme nije dostupna, ali povremeno na Krpicama i sličnim sajtovima osvane neki primerak.

The theme of today's post is a polish that has been among my untrieds for the longest time. With nearly three years in my collection without being worn or shown, I can freely name OPI Russian Navy Suede my most neglected polish. Suede polishes have long been discontinued, but sometimes polishes from it can be found on Ebay and similar websites.

Nedavno sam se videla sa drugaricama lakoholičarkama i povela se priča o metalik plavim lakovima te sam bila inspirisana da izvučem pravi klasik i prvi OPI koji sam ikada nosila - Russian Navy. Ova nijansa je deo stalne postavke te se može i dalje naći u apotekama (ne znam da li je stalno dostupan u Sefori), a u Prima apotekama svakog 15. u mesecu imate 15% popusta na kozmetiku, uključujući i OPI lakove.

I have recently met with my fellow polishaholics and we were discussing metallic blue polishes so I was inspired to take out a true classic and the first OPI polish I have ever worn - Russian Navy. This shade is now part of core collection and is ready available and you have to have it if you don't already own it.

Za slučaj da niste saznali preko društvenih mreža, proleće nam je stiglo. :D Vreme ovih dana je bilo više jesenje, ali sam ipak u veoma dobrom raspoloženju i baš su mi se pečatirali neki veseli prolećni motivi. Electric Flakies

Kada sam predstavljala pločicu MoYou Nails 80 najviše pažnje je privukao mat manikir sa ljuspicama. Meni se sam taj manikir svideo toliko da nisam želela da ga skinem, što je i bio razlog da ga nadogradim francuskim pečatiranjem, a danas dobija i zaseban članak.

When I did the review of MoYou Nails 80 stamping plate, the mani that caught your eyes the most was the matte one with flakies. I loved that mani so much that I didn't want to take it off, which is why I stamped French tips over it, and now it gets a blogpost of its own.

Even though I've been keeping my nails quite short these past several months, from time to time I do let them grow enough for me to do some nail art or stamping that requires longer nails. French manicure is among those cases and stamped French tips are about the only ones I do sometimes wear.

I find it a bit odd to do Christmas-themed manis at the beginning of summer, but one of MoYou Nails stamping plates from Concept collection has winter holidays for theme and I'd certainly have to show it buy August. I also think it is never too early to start preparations for holiday celebrations.

You know I am not a girly girl and that is why at first I had planned to do only two manis to showcase this MoYou Nails Concept Collection stamping plate. The theme of this image plate is very feminine, a bit childlike, which really isn't my thing and I was afraid I won't be inspired to do more than a couple of manicures. However, this plate turned out to be quite inspiring and I hope you'll like what I came up with.
