Polish Molish The Show Must Go On

Wild Avocado mi je stajao čak 10 dana na noktima i bilo mi je žao da ga stignem, ali izrastak je bio takav da nisam imala izbora. Ovo sivilo je savršeno za fotografisanje multihromatskih lakova, tako da sam izvukla moj prvi i (za sada) jedini Polish Molish lak. Poručila sam ga sa Lakodoma. Trenutno ga nema na stanju, ali će ga sigurno biti kada budu oglasili narednu pretprodaju.

I had Wild Avocado on for 10 days and I was sorry to take it off, but the growth was such that I had no choice. And this grey weather is perfect for taking photos of duo and multichromatic polishes so I got my first and (so far) only Polish Molish nail polish. I ordered it from Lakodoma. They don't have it in stock right now, but I am sure they will get it when they announce the next preorder.

L'Oreal Color Riche Le Vernis à l'Huile 674 Noir Noir

Koliko crnih lakova je potrebno Cajki? Svi. Iako imam svoje omiljene crne kreme, uvek sam bila spremna da kupim još koju, čisto da vidim koliko su dobre. Takođe na stopalima uvek imam crni lak, te je ovo boja koju, za razliku od ostalih, redovno trošim makar na pedikir. Tako sam pre neku godinu kada su povlačili L'Oreal lakove iz naše ponude uzela sa stalka za rasprodaje L'Oreal Color Riche Le Vernis à l'Huile 674 Noir Noir, nadajući se da će biti dobra zamena za Essie Licorice (tada već povučen iz naših drogerija). Kako se pokazao?

How many black polishes does Cajka need? All of them. Even though I have my favourite black cremes, I am always ready to buy a new one, just to see how good it is. I also always wear black polish on my toes, so this is the one colour which, unlike others, I use regularly, at least for pedicures. So several years ago when they were withdrawing L'Oreal polishes I got L'Oreal Color Riche Le Vernis à l'Huile 674 Noir Noir from one of the clearance bins, hoping it would be a good substitute for Essie Licorice which has already been withdraw from our drugstores. So how did it fare?

Nails Inc. 512 Noho (Bling It On Rebel)

Nails Inc. je brend koji sam aktivno izbegavala dok je bio dostupan kod nas jer mi boje nisu bile zanimljive, a cena im je bila previsoka. Na moju sreću, a uvoznikovu žalost, prodaja očigledno nije išla sjajno sam ovaj set kupila upola cene, ako ne i za svega trećinu cene. Bling It On Rebel je set u kome se nalaze lak u nijansi Noho, superlepak i različite dekoracije.

Nails Inc. is a brand that I actively avoided while it was available in Serbia because colours were not interesting to me, and I found them to be overpriced. Fortunately for me, not for the importer, the sales obviously weren't great, so I managed to get this set at half if not even a third of the price. Bling It On Rebel is a set containing polish in shade Noho, superglue and various decorations.

ILNP Eclipse (H)

Pošto sam bila toliko impresionirana crno-crvenim multihrom lakovima, odmah sam uzela dva takva ILNP laka - običan Eclipse i Eclipse (H). Ne mogu garantovati da neću uzeti još koji na ovaj fazon. ILNP shop dostavlja za Srbiju, ali poštarina je visoka (meni je za 4 laka ispala skoro $30). Za slučaj da vas zanima, paket sa 4 laka je mali i prošao je bez otvaranja i dodatnih troškova. Lakovi imaju 12 ml.

Since I was so impressed with black to red multichrome polishes, I had to get two such ILNP polishes - a regular Eclipse and Eclipse (H). I can't promise I won't get several more. I ordered from ILNP web shop. They do ship to Serbia, but shipping is rather high (it was almonst $30 for 4 polishes). Polishes come in 12 ml bottles.

Nije nikakva novina da mi se ILNP lakovi sviđaju, ali nisam bila u prilici da ih kupujem jer online prodavnica iz kojih sam naručivala ili više ne dostavljaju za Srbiju ili nemaju u ponudi one lakove koje sam želela da uzmem. Onda sam poručila direktno od njih. ILNP shop dostavlja za Srbiju, ali poštarina je visoka (meni je za 4 laka ispala skoro $30). Ipak, meni je vredelo jer sam silno želela da uzme Eclipse. I Eclipse (H). Za slučaj da vas zanima, paket sa 4 laka je mali i prošao je bez otvaranja i dodatnih troškova.

It has been quite some time that I liked a polish enough that I had to buy it, and then to delight me even more in person. It is no news that I like ILNP polishes, but I had no opportunity to buy new ones because etailers I used to order from either no longer ship to Serbia or don't have the colours I wanted in stock. So I gave their offical web shop a go. They do ship to Serbia, but shipping is rather high (it was almonst $30 for 4 polishes). Despite that, It was worth it to me because I really wanted to get my hands on Eclipse. And Eclipse (H).

Essie Tribal Text-Styles

Verovatno ste primetile u proteklih godinu dana da je Essie ponuda u Srbiji sve siromašnija i da se nove kolekcije ne uvoze. Essie stalci po drogerijama stoje poluprazni, sa lakovima sumnjivog stanja koji izgledaju kao da im treba dobro brisanje prašine i spolja i iznutra. Tužan prizor. Svako zamiranje brenda kod nas me malo rastuži, mada za Essie mi nije preterano žao jer su im kolekcije vazda sigurne i dosadne - malo nude, malo roze, nešto crveno i jedna boja koja odskače od ostatka. Verujem da to može biti jedan razlog za smanjenj interesovanja kupaca za ove lakove. Drugi je sasvim sigurno cena. Puna cena je povremeno povećavana, ali lakovi su skoro stalno bili na sniženju, što je dobar pokazatelj stepena prodaje - jednostavno nisu išli po novoj punoj ceni.

Essie nail polish range available in Serbia has been diminishing consistently for a year or two now and we haven't been getting new collections. Essie stands are half-empty, with suspiciously-looking polishes that look like they need a good dusting both on the outside and on the inside. A sad sight indeed. Every time I see a brand fail in certain market I get a bit sad, although I am not too sad about Essie because I find their collections safe and boring - some nudes, some pinks, some reds and one colour that does not match the rest of them. I believe that to be one of the reasons buyers aren't as interested in these polishes. The other one is definitely price. When they first introduced drugstore range of Essie, they were about half the price they are now, but nowadays they are on sale quite often, showing that they weren't selling at full price.

Catrice Noir Vert & Noir Bleu

Taman kada nam je u DM prošle godine stigao Catrice, u ponudu su uveli liniju Noir Noir lakova - 6 veoma tamnih, zacrnjenih lakova čije boje se kreću od crvene i ljubičaste preko sive do plave i zelene. Meni su ovi stigli od Suzi i da ih nisam dobila od nje, sasvim sigurno ne bih sama uzela nijedan jer me sa police nisu mamili. Sada se ovi lakovi povlače iz proizvodnje pa je moguće naći ih po sniženoj ceni u činijama kod kase u DMu.

Just as Catrice hit our DM stores last year, they had added Noir Noir line of polishes to their range. Noir Noir line consists of 6 very dark, blackened polishes that range from red and purple to grey to blue and green. I have gotten these two from Suzi and if it weren't for her, I would not have tried them at all, because they didn't call to me from the shelf. Now this line has been discontinued so you can probably get them for just a fraction of price in DM stores and other retailers that might carry them.

Nfu.Oh 60

Nfu.Oh je godinala imao u ponudi najrazličitije, a potpuno fantastične lakove sa ljuspicama, sve spakovano u prekrasne bočicama u obliku haljine sa korsetom. Nažalost, pre nekoliko godina su prestali da proizvode ove lakove, ali se pojedini još uvek mogu naći na Ebay ili Amazonu ili po drugim online prodavnicama. Ovo je poslednji koji sam uzela, a kao utehu što sam propustila da uzmem #51.

For years, Nfu.Oh had a wide range of fantastic polishes with flecks, all packaged in gorgeous corseted dress bottles. Sadly, several years ago they stopped making them, but you can still find some shades on Ebay, Amazon or some other online stores. This is the last one I got, and I bought it as a consolation after I had missed #51.

Born Pretty BP-L010

Mada generalno nisam ljubitelj etno motiva na noktima, ovi na Born Pretty BP-L010 pločici su toliko topli da sam morala da ih iskoristim za ovo lepo vreme.

Alessandro Go Magic Crystal Punk Green Underground

Magic City u svojoj ponudi Alessandro proizvoda ima i više setova lakova, često sa nekin posebnim efektom. Crystal Punk setovi se sastoje od crnog krem laka i topera sa ljuspicama u četiri boje, a ja imam Green Underground da vam pokažem. Lakovi su od po 5 ml. Moguće je da će se ovi setovi naći na Alessandro štandu na sajmu za vikend.

There are many Alessandro nail polish sets, most of them with some special effect. Crystal Punk sets consist of a black creme polish and a topper with flakes in four colours, and I have Green Underground to show you today. Polishes are in 5 ml bottles and can still be found on Ebay and similar websites.

I skipped last week's matching manicure, and I am late with this week's theme because I haven't had time lately to paint my nails. However, I did try to combine current and skipped themes in today's mani and I hope you'll like the end result.

Born Pretty Store seems to have truly decided to make good linear holo polishes. The one I am showing you today was love at first stroke. It costs $20, which is too much for 10 ml of polish, but it is currently discounted and you can get it at half the price.

Matching Manicures - Skittlette

Po ko zna koji put radimo Skittlette, ali na svu sreću ovo je tema koju mogu da radim iznova i iznova i iznova, a da mi ne dosadi.

This is the third time we have colour red as theme for our matching manis. Even though red is one of my favourite colours and I don't lack appropriate polishes, I found it a bit difficult to come up with an attractive mani that we haven't done before considering that we've already done this theme twice before. I hope you'll like my take on it.

Misslyn Edgy

Misslyn je italijanski brend koji se trenutno nalazi u vlasništvu firme ArtDeco. Mada im se neki proizvodi u ponudi poklapaju, kada su lakovi u pitanju Misslyn nesporno ima originalniju ponudu, što me je i privuklo. Misslyn lakovi dolaze u bočicama od 10 ml i mogu se nabaviti u više zemalja širom sveta u Müller, Douglas i drugim drogerijama. U našem bližem okruženju ih ima u Hrvatskoj, Bosni, Rumuniji i Mađarskoj.

Misslyn is an Italian brand of cosmetics, currently owned by ArtDeco. While these two companies share some of the products, Misslyn undoubtedly has more original range of polishes, which is what had drawn me to them. Misslyn polishes come in 10 ml bottles and can be found in many countries worldwide in Müller, Douglas and other stores.

Flormar 399

U poslednjih nekoliko godina retko kupujem Flormar lakove. Ne zbog onog uvoznika već zbog nepostojanja uzbudljivih novih boja na našem tržištu. I pored toga sam proletos uzela dva, više zbog toga što su pametno postavljeni pored kase u DM-u i zato što su bili 99 dinara nego zato što mi je neki zaista trebao. Realno, da li mi ijedan lak više treba? Sve u svemu, računala sam da neću propasti za toliko i da mogu da isprobam još koji Flormar. Redovna cena u DMu im je oko 140 dinara, a bočice su od 11 ml.

I haven't been buying Flormar polishes much these last several years. Not because of that importer, but because there are no new and exciting colours on the market. Despite all that, I did get a couple this spring, more thanks to their smart position next to the POS in DM than because I needed them. To be honest, do I need any more polish? Anyhow, I knew that the world won't end because of it and that I could give Flormar a go again.
