OPI Black Cherry Chutney

Black Cherry Chutney (NL I43) je bio prvi OPI lak koji sam poželela da imam. Deo je India kolekcije koju je OPI izbacio u proleće 2008. godine, a sada je u stalnoj kolekciji. Možda sam spominjala ranije kako ne delim boje po sezonama, ali zdrav razum mi nalaže da je šimere, posebno tamne šimere, najbolje nositi kada ima sunca, što je uglavnom leti. Uspela sam juče da uhvatim malo sunca pre one provale oblaka kako bih što je moguće bolje prikazala ovaj prelepi tamni šimer.

Black Cherry Chutney (NL I43) was the first OPI I wanted to own. It was part of the spring 2008. India collection and not it is in the core range. I may have mentioned that I don't separate colours by season, but common sense dictates that shimmery polishes, especially dark ones, look their best in sunlight, which is usually in spring and summer. I managed to catch some sunshine just before yesterday's deluge in order to show this gorgeous dark shimmer to the best of my ability.

L'Oreal Color Riche 916 Confettis

Do sada sam izbegavala L'Oreal Color Riche lakove jer mislim da su preskupi, posebno kada se uzme u obzir količina proizvoda, a ni boje mi nisu previše zanimljive. Kada su se pre nekoliko meseci pojavili različiti toperi u njihovoj ponudi, bila sam sprema na da uzmem Confettis, ali sam ipak odlučila da uzmem Jolly Jewels 123. Na svu sreću, dok sam bila u Nizozemskoj, u Kruidvat drogerijama je bila akcija na lakove - dva po ceni jednog tako da sam uzela konfete i matirajući nadlak. Kod nas koštaju 500 dinara, bočice su od 5 ml i imaju široku, pljosnatu, zaobljenu četkicu.



I've been avoiding L'Oreal Color Riche polishes because I find them too expensive, especially when you consider the amount of product, and the colours aren't that interesting to me. When toppers hit our stores several months ago I was ready to buy Confettis, but I opted for Jolly Jewels 123 instead. Fortunately, while I was in the Netherlands there was special offer in Kruidvat drugstores - two nail polishes for the price of one, so I got this one and matte top coat. They cost about 6 €, come in 5 ml bottles and have wide, flat, rounded brush.

Rainbow Honey The Worst Possible Thing

Dva laka iz paketića koja sam dobila od Becky (Naked Without Polish) dugo su čekala da budu isprobana. Ovo je drugi od dva Rainbow Honey laka koja su se tamo našla. Rainbow Honey lakovi se prodaju u pakovanjima od 7 i 15 ml, ne sadrže toluen, DBP, formalin i sastojke životinjskog porekla i nisu testirani na životinjama. Two of four polishes I won on Becky's (Naked Without Polish) giveaway have been waiting quite a while to be tried. This is the second of the two Rainbow Honey polishes. Rainbow Honey polishes come in 7 and 15 ml bottles in lovely boxes, they don't contain toluene, DBP or formalin and are cruelty-free.

The Worst Possible Thing je lak iz Equestria kolekcije, inspirisane junacima My Little Pony serijala. The Worst Possible Thing je inspirisan ponijem Rarity, za kojeg su MLP stručnjaci iz mog društva rekli da mi je sličan. Opisan je kao proziran toper optočen draguljima, kakav bi Rarity i podržala, sa blistavim plavim i ljubičastim ljuspicama i mnoštvom irizirajućih i hologramskih šljokicama. Nisam možda najbolje odabrala podlogu za prvo nošenje ovog topera jer se veći deo boja izgubio u osnovnoj boji. Na tamnijoj ili kontrastnoj podlozi bi se sigurno mnogo bolje videle.

The Worst Possible Thing comes from Equestria collection, inspired by My Little Pony. The Worst Possible Thing is inspired by Rarity, who the authorities on MLP among my friends say is similar to me. It is described as a sheer layering polish, jewel encrusted just as Rarity would endorse and shimmering with flakies in purple and blue and a multitude of holographic and iridescent glitters. Perhaps my choice of the base colour wasn't the best because most of the glitter colours got lost in it. They'd probably look much better over darker or contrasting base.

Lak se maže veoma lepo i suši se brzo. Nije mnogo grbav, mada neke ljuspice i šljokice treba ručno namestiti tako da ne štrče sa nokta. Jedan sloj nadlaka mi je isprva bio dovoljan da izravnam površinu, ali se kasnije slegao i lak je opet postao neravan, ali ne tako da šljokice grebu ili probijaju tu površinu. Skinula sam ga lakše od nekih drugih šljokičavih lakova.

The application was smooth and the polish dried fast. It isn't very gritty, but some flakes and glitter maybe need to be repositioned in order not to protrude from the surface. One coat of top coat was at first enough to even out the surface, but it settled after some time and the surface looked and felt pitted. I removed it more easily than many other glittery polishes.

Prvih pet slika je snimljeno na dnevnom svetlu, naredne tri na direktnom suncu. Imam jedan sloj The Worst Possible Thing preko Don Juan OC 254. Nemam nadlak. Na poslednje dve slike imam Miss Sporty Checck Matte matirajući nadlak.

Srebrni cvetići

Četvrti set nitni koje sam dobila sa sajta KKCenterHk su srebrno-sive polulopte NNAIL-DRN669. Ovo su metalne nitne prečnika 3 mm. Veoma su jednostavne za upotrebu i lako se kombinuju i raspoređuju u različite oblike. Donja površina im je blago udubljena, što ih čini zgodnim za postavljanje na površinu nokta. U pakovanju je oko 50 komada. Mogu se koristiti više puta, što je odlično. Za uklanjanje tagova laka i/ili nadlaka preporučujem potapanje nitni u čist aceton.

The fourth set of nail studs I got from KKCenterHk is silvery-grey round NNAIL-DRN669. These metal studs are 3 mm in diameter. They are very easy to use and can easily be combined and arranged into different shapes. Their lower surface is slightly concave, which is very useful when it comes to placing them on the nail surface. There are about 50 pieces in a pack. They are reusable, which is an upside. I recommend dipping the studs in pure acetone in order to remove traces of polish and/or top coat.

Don Juan One Coat OC257

OC257 je drugi lak iz najnovije kolekcije One Coat lakova koji vam predstavljam. U pitanju je zagasita tirkizno-plava krema. Dobro ide uz moj ten i od novih osam lakova moj je favorit. Maže se prilično lepo. Jedan deblji sloj daje punu pokrivenost, ali četkica može povući boju ako pređete preko istog mesta više puta. Zato bih ipak savetovala mazanje dva tanja sloja. Brzo se suši (imam utisak da se sušio brže od OC254). Sjaj mu je visok.

OC257 is the second polish from the latest One Coat collection I'm showing you. This is a muted turquoise blue creme. It goes well with my complexion and is my favourite of the collection. It goes on quite well. One thicker coat gives full coverage, but brush might take some of the colour off if you go over same spot twice. That's why I'd recommend two thinner coats. It dries fast (I have a feeling it dried faster than OC254). The gloss is very high.
